tell a story about a time when you probably shouldn't have been doing something, did it anyway against your better judgment, and it screwed you over...leaving you sitting there wondering why you couldn't have just listened to yourself the first time around.

here's mine:

3 weeks ago or something i bought a pack of djarum blacks just on a whim (i don't consider myself a smoker and haven't in probably like 5 years before this). there's 6 left though. so i was sitting here tonight and i thought to myself that i should smoke one because a) i have nothing to do right now and b) i paid money so there's no point in letting them just sit in my car. i decided i would go to the garage and smoke one. i took my speakers and ipod with me. half way through it though i decided i should open the garage door because i didn't want my garage to smell like that (even though these have the best spiced smell in the world). THEN for some reason when the door started coming up the cover of the light on the garage door opener flew off. that was unexpected and made me jump, which made me hit the table i was standing by which knocked it over and my BOSE speakers fell off and broke.

..................................................

really sucks, especially becasue this all would have prevented if i had just not smoked it. i didn't even have a real reason to be doing it, i didn't want to that much. that dollar cigarette cost me my 400 dollar speakers.

Hey, where'd you get the Djarum Blacks? They're pretty tough to find near me, now that they're not entirely legal...

i just got them at a random gas station. these are the cigars though, i haven't seen the cigarettes since the ban. they seem exactly like the cigarettes though. i think they're just calling them cigars because they can get away with them under that title?

Do they have filters? Djarum makes something that's basically like the Blacks but sans filters, so they market them as cigars. You obviously shouldn't inhale them though.

these have filters

i'm really at a lose though as to what makes these cigars other than the package saying it. i'm gonna read around online about this.

btw, have you had the coffee ones?

i just read a post here: http://www.cigarsmokers.com/t12565-djarum-now-cigars.html

QUOTE
I talked in depth with one of the Djarum reps on these items for you guys. They use a homogenized tobacco wrapper(paper made from tobacco) instead of regular cig paper. They also had to alter the blend slightly to have correct tobacco weight ratios to be considered a cigar. You can't just call it a little cigar. These are perfectly "legal" and will be sold to replace the others.

and the dude posted this picture.

you can see the blacks box there, 12 filtered clove cigars.

i miss djarum blacks :(

but uh... i sprained my ankle back in september about one week after my ankle fully recovered from the last twist. i told myself i shouldn't wear heels, but they were so pretty i decided to wear them anyways. things went well until i tried to cross the street... a car was coming and i was like "i can make it if i run" and i ran... and twisted my ankle. and because of that twist, i couldn't study properly for my neuro exam the next day which led me to fail it... which is probably why i'm gonna get a reaaally bad grade in that class now.

Hm, I'll have to look around in the area more.

I had actually switched to Djarum Splash back a few months ago, right before they got banned -- disappointing, because I was starting to prefer Splash to Blacks.

Never tried the coffee ones, though. Only ever had Splash and Blacks.

DUDE! my friend was just telling me about these last night. she told me this story about how the lady sold them to her under the table because they're illegal now because they appeal to kids and crap. she smoked one for me so i could smell it. they do smell much better than regular cigarettes and they look all classy. my car kinda smells like them. she also had these other ones that are all colorful. they reminded me of disneyland.

something i shouldn't have done: i took a shower as soon as i woke up which was a bad idea because i hadn't eaten. i know better than to do something that requires energy before i eat (i'm hypoglycemic) but i wanted to get the shower over with. i had to get out of the shower early because i started to get dizzy. so i get out and sit on the floor for a while until the colors went away (yes colors, it's kind of hard to explain) and i felt able to at least get to my bed. i slowly make my way to the door and then BAM! i passed out. all i remember is standing in the doorway to my bathroom and then coming to on the floor in the hallway. it was so scary. i was home alone and i'm not sure how long i was out. i don't think it was long though. all i had to do was eat a sandwich or something before i got in the shower and i would've been fine. won't be doing that again. passing out sucks.

god I've been craving a black since they banned them. I bought 3 packs on the day the ban happened to save them as antiques, but I ended up smoking them all. :c
