most of us have started back to school now. how's the new year going so far? do you like your classes? do you hate your classes? are you poor as f*ck because you had to buy all those books? are you already swamped with homework? ect ect let's talk

I'm pretty happy with my schedule. Only in class 3 days a week & didn't have to waitlist/crash a class, I feel like everyone at my school has been complaining about not getting the classes they want b/c of all the budget cuts, but I got all mine.
 Cultural Anthropology is totally over my head since it's an honors, but I got really interested when he started talking about Evolutionary Psychology, so we'll see how that goes. World Religions is a class I can totally BS, so thank god for that. English & math are pretty interesting, but time consuming too. & as far as books go, I just paid +$400 for them about a week or two ago. asdfghjkl; But zomg, I saw myself on TV last night on the nightly news b/c I went to the student rally/protest on the budget cuts. & my friend got interviewed by the SD Union Tribune too. haha |

It sucks.
This girl just e-mailed me about our big course project for MIS, due at the end of the semester, and told us to pick our top 5 companies to do the project on. She already picked her top 5 and potential ideas we could use with the companies. We only got this assignment today. We have a whole week to make a decision. I AM SO NOT READY TO READ SHIT. f*ck. HOW IS SHE DOING THIS ALREADY? HOW ARE PEOPLE ALREADY STUDYING IN THE LIBRARY????? Also, didn't get any cool free stuff on the first day of school, also, didn't make many new friends in my classes at all, been really anti-social, hate school, hate boys, hate commuting to school, hate not seeing my friends as often as I'd like, hate living with my family, hate not being independent, hate life, everything sucks. |

Gigi - we so need to hang out again with Joanne, Robbi, etc, when school isn't destroying us.
And its Thursday night of the first week and I'm up at 2:30am still. That says a lot. Got my first project already. And um. I'm dying already. I know its gonna be a really, REALLY rough semester.. kill me now.

If I don't get a 4.0 this semester I'm a dumbass. Well not necessarily 4.0 but like 3.5 or better.
I have classes two days a week, from 10 am to 230 pm on tuesdays and thrusdays. I'm taking 12 hours, so aside from the three classes on tues/thurs I have an online clas on M/W. I don't have tests in any class, strictly project / papers, which I freaking love. I hate tests. I do have quizzes and tons of online work, but that's no problem, I have the freaking books with me to get the answers. Since I have such an easy semester, I'm getting a job as a waiter or bartender. I will get a job, and I will make 500 a week. I'm also going to start buying shit loads of stupid stuff. |

Honestly, it wasn't too bad, at least compared to if I took Calc. If the teacher sucks just get an AP Stat test prep book. Those help ALOT since they condense everything down to just the basics.
