What do you guys think of the bank that you bank at and the people who work there?

I go to college and work at a mediocre retail store... so, I don't really make that much money. And I'm not the best with money anyway so, there have been a few times that my account has over drafted. Not a big deal. But, the people in the bank are so mean! They treat me like scum and they actually lecture me when I go in there to check my balance. So, I refuse to go to the branch near my house anymore.

Does this happen to you? I mean, if your great with your money than probably not. But, have you ever experienced a mean bank teller?

My bank knows my family pretty well, so the tellers and I are on a first name basis. I take care of my brothers business related finances (don't worry, he pays me to. I'm not that nice) and since my mom doesn't drive I usually go to the bank for her or am with her when she goes.

I don't blame you for wanting to switch banks. They should at least be professional and courteous to you.

Ya, I really don't understand it because it is a really professional environment and they are dressed professionally but they don't act professional. They are just rude.

I like my bank. They give me points for buying things and paying bills. I rarely go into the bank, so as far as the people go, I really don't have much to say. The times I have had to interact with bank staff have been pretty nice.

Which reminds me, it's time to redeem some points.

^Citi, ftw!

I like my banks (I have accounts at three places :X). Since they know my mom, they're nice to me. I've never had any problems with them. They're always professional and friendly. And it helps that two of my bankers are cute. eyebrowes.gif

There was this really cute bank teller when I went into the bank, but I've only seen him once. He had to be new there, because he was all nervous when he counting the money out... which kind of just added to his cuteness.

I have Chase (used to be wamu) and I've never had a problem with them, EXCEPT a time when my credit card wasn't working (also Chase). The reason was that they deactivated my credit card because I was making a large purchase. It took a bit of time on the phone to clear it up, and the bad thing was that I was in a large are with limited reception on my cell phone. However, they were really nice about it, and my credit card was activated again.

I hardly go to the bank (maybe once a month or bimonthly) because I have direct deposit from my workplace.

i was a customer for washington mutual for over 2 years and wow i hated their freaking customer service especially their store locator in seattle, washington.. it was just horrible. i have no problems with overweight ladies, but 3 different banks with 3 different overweight ladies.. i don't know i guess i got bad luck? it was weird.. they looked same... cause same hair, same talks, same excuses.. maybe it was the same lady, i just didn't look at her closely.. so when i needed help because somehow i got an over -drafted fee when i haven't used my debit card for like a month and it said i used it like a day ago that time. so the lady was on the phone with her friend.......... and she was like "oomg yeah? really? like omg i know? i got my nails done today. omg today is the bad weather. omg i have a customer, gosh i just want to get home" she said it loud and talked very obnoxiously.. i just wanted to pull all her hair out.... T________________T;; i wasted my 30 minutes hearing her TALK!!!!! i can't believe nobody bothered to tell her to stop what she's doing and help the customer.. well actually it was like closing time when i went, but GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

well now i have wells fargo.. it's good bank.. i likey a lot :) good customer service!

I used BB&T, tis okay, haven't really had problems with my account or really the people. Most of the people at the bank near me are pretty nice, I actually look forward to going in and talking with them.

I like my bank (Fifth Third Bank http://www.53.com) the teller's and I are on a first name basis. They've never hassled me for money when I overdraft. Their penalties are harsher than most banks. Having a $36 fee for overdrafting, and $6 every day the account is under balance. But you don't have phone calls for hours and hours.
