Of course religion wise, you should wait til' your married. But honestly in today's world, I would be surprised if people don't wait, and for the ones that do wait they typically get married pretty early.

LOL my friend told me a story where her aunt or something never got married, so she was a virgin pretty much all her life.


Anyway, I really don't care. As long as you know the consequences, I think you're pretty much ready. I honestly don't see sex as something that should be done with someone you'll spend the rest of your life with anymore. I used to, but now I see it as something that should be done with someone you care about, and maybe for your own guilty pleasure. Unless a baby pops up, then you're in some deep shit, but that's why you should know the consequences first! :D

For me personally, Im not going to have sex before marriage. Or I am sincerely going to try not to have sex before marriage. I am a christian so I believe that I need to obey God and I know that he has set out this rule to keep STDs from running rampant and teen pregnancy getting out of hand and kids being raised by a single parent or worse, by kids. I know it is to protect me. And you can see from all these things happening, that God had a reason to implement this rule. Although, shit happens and people do it. So I try not to say anything to others about it. But what irritates me a lot is when people dont use protection. COME ON PEOPLE!

First, your answer is an oxymoron. If you are truely an atheist then you don't believe in the existance of God and therefore He couldn't send anyone to hell if He doesn't exist.
God set rules to protect us from ourselves because we all sin. Sin has a penalty of death. When Adam sinned, he died spiritually then later physically. Luckily God sent Jesus to pay the price for us and redeem us back to Him but you have to first to believe in Him completely and the Bible is not just a book but a love letter to those that look to Him for salvation.

I really wanna hear a second opinion on this. It seems like in this world, it is becoming less and less of a big deal. Should it still be a big deal? I mean even for me it seems like less of a big deal but, I wish it was more of a big deal because then one day when I do do it, it wont be, me being selfish.
