Luna has to be my favorite character, she's a delightful character to watch and she's smart and whimsical.
Ginny annoys me. UGHHHH.

HP purists be damned, this movie was awesome!

Bonnie Wright (Ginny) is a TERRIBLE actress. Jesus. I cringed whenever she recited her lines. And the scene with Harry...I think I shielded my eyes and squealed a bit. SO AWKWARD.

I realized that I really like watching HP movies with my brother, who knows nothing about HP, because it means that I have to explain to him the bits he doesn't understand/forgot, and he never gets restless...like when I gush to him about HP on a regular day.

He thought the cave that Voldemort hid the horcrux in was Hell. laugh.gif I mean, understandable, but still. He also LOVED Lavender's scenes. And he ultimately enjoyed this movie as well.

lol @ wanting HP to not be dark and serious. If you want to watch a funny movie, go watch I Love You Beth Cooper or something. HP would be NOTHING without the darkness...who wants to watch a bunch of hormonal teenage witch and wizard drama for 2 hours?

Yay, I'm glad you liked it!!! But yes, Bonnie Wright = so so SO bad. So bad. That scene in the Room of Requirement was totally unnecessary.

the movie was good. i was expecting lots of action like voldemort & dumbledore's fight at the end of The order of the phoenix but half blood prince was decent. a good transaction into the darkness of the last books/films. :D

I wish it lasted longer. I would prefer a 10-hour movie full of EVERYTHING.. even the boring stuff that others wouldn't want to see... compared to 2 years of waiting for it to come out and only getting 2 and a half hours -.-

why Voldemort picked certain objects as his choice of horcruxes, how Snape got the name "Half-Blood Prince", what part Fenrir Grayback plays in Voldemort's plans, and a few other things. The burning down of the Burrow was completely pointless, but I'm guessing it was necessary on Fenrir's part.
Fenrir doesn't do much LOL. he attacks the trio in deathly hollows...anything else? LOL snape's the half blood prince cuz his mom is a pure blood whose name is Eileen Prince and his dad was a muggle. so he's a half-blood Prince. i think the horcruxes were more or less random...also they were pretty well hidden which is good for Voldy cuz of course you want them to be safe. shrug.gif

FRANKIEEEE!!

No, Voldy's horcruxes were by no means random (I mean...would you put a piece of your soul into a random object that meant nothing to you?). Spoiler time...

1. Nagini
2. Hufflepuff's Cup
3. Ravenclaw Diadem
4. Slytherin's Locket
5. Tom Riddle's Diary
6. Marvolo Gaunt's Ring
7. Harry Potter (unintentional)

Nagini, his fav sidekick. Artifacts that belonged to three of the four House founder cus he loves Hogwarts so much (but not Gryffindor obvs). The diary cus he used that to kill Moaning Myrtle back in the day. The Ring cus it belonged to his grandfather and he killed his father to make it. And it contains the Resurrection Stone.

You know. Typical Voldy fare.

Fenrir Greyback doesn't really do much, yeah, he's just there to be evil pretty much and help the Death Eaters.

^ She really does. But she also looks a LOT older than she really is. I haven't decided whether it's a good or bad kind of older yet. pinch.gif

^ but from a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, she did say that all she's worried about right now is Harry Potter...and after that, she's still not sure if she wants to act. kind of a shame because i do like her on screen as well. ermm.gif

I can't stand Emma Watson's acting. She didn't bother me in this movie so much, but I wanted to shave her eyebrows off in all the other ones. Nobody moves them that much when they're talking.

i really can't stand any of the acting, but they're so cute it almost doesn't bother me anymore. i always laugh when they cry-act though :/

btw, emma watson is going to brown and i want some of my friends who go there to be friends with her asap =)

^ f*cking gorgeous.

lol, but yeah... Emma Watson is far from a "superb actress", IMO. You know that park in the HBP where they were joking about Dumbledore's age? Sure, all three of them were laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world, but Hermione was laughing the hardest (and fakest) of them all. Come on guys - it's not that funny.
