QUOTE(Herizon Action @ Jul 15 2009, 06:16 PM) *
Random off-topic conversations always seem to take up thread space. Lack of motivational posters and Ads for new members has led to a decline in user registration.
I firmly believe that we should take some action in exercising the use of motivational factors to increase the livelihood and overall friendliness of the new generation of CreateBlog.
In doing so, I also firmly believe that motivating our users will result in providing the future generations with healthy moral stature and well-being.

I agree however,
Star trek talk is NEVER off topic.
Its always relevant to EVERYTHING cry.gif

it's "boring" becasue the people are boring people and the ones who aren't boring people don't have the energy to care. i don't think it has anything to do with mods being strict or not strict. they aren't strict now and it's still "boring".

Yeah, I really don't have a beef with the mods nowadays, much improved since last year.

The forum is a mix of overeager new users, wannabe ***hole failtrolls, old members just trying to enjoy each others company, and people like me who are just fiddling on the deck of this sinking ship.

I have never seen it expressed that way. I like it.

Only so much that folks can do here to make it interesting. People have to have the time, the intelligence and the desire to post on a regular basis. And I'm not talking about fly-fishing nonsense posting, although that's cool too. I'm talking about kick ass discussion posting. Some people don't have the attention span to read anything longer than a few sentences. ;)
