The machine's performance doesn't lag, but the Windows programs do. I know the basics in GIMP. When it comes down to it, I'm just not familiar with the program yet. As for Banshee; I've heard good things but I've never used it. I've been using Rhythmbox (which, sadly, is pretty sub-par), and the iPod support is minimal, at best. Since I'm making the jump to Fedora, I'm taking this chance to start fresh. Ubuntu did too much for me and I'd much rather get some 'terminal' time. |
