Anyway, my car's at 135k and isn't really having mechanical issues, at all. Oil changes every 5k or so miles, maintenance once since the 100k mark, changing air filter every now and then, and no mechanical issues at all.

I'd rather spend something like 5k on a car. Any higher than that, and I'll spend it on something else.

Car has to get me from point A to point B, and that's about it. I'm not going all out on something that does the same thing in about the same amount of time.
