quoting from rebeccas quote in the how men f*ck up relationships thread. i took the liberty to highlight in red all the ones that women are guilty of doing too much.

QUOTE
Several years ago Pat Love Ed.D. and Sunny Shulkin Ph.D., two Imago trainers and therapists, published a book titled How to Ruin a Perfectly Good Relationship. Below is part of their list of some behaviors they identify which can, indeed, ruin a relationship:

* Control everything and everyone
* Never take the blame yourself; instead, make your partner wrong
* Make it a habit to spend more money than you have
* Win every fight, even the ones you couldn’t care less about
* Keep score
* Use threat often
* Find your partner’s weak spot and use it against him/her
* When your partner tries to please you, find fault with their efforts
* Hold fast to the belief: “If you loved me you would know what I want”
* Demand your partner remain faithful but refuse to meet his or her sexual needs
* Use silence as a weapon
* Pretend that you don’t hear
* When your partner tries to apologize, bring up more complaints
* Refuse to give information
* When you realize you haven’t given your partner some important info, insist that you did
* Claim to be the only one interested in the relationship
* Never ask for help
* Confide only in friends
* Take it personally when your partner wants time alone
* Discount your partner’s physical complaints
* Give advice where it isn’t welcome
* Never pick up after yourself
* Refuse to seek help for your depression
* Refuse to talk
* Focus on changing your partner
* Focus all your needs on sex
* Take all problems as further proof that the relationship will not work
* Put your friends before your partner
* Keep romantic gestures to a minimum
* Focus on your partner’s faults and deny your own
* Let days go by without a kind word or loving gesture
* Practice verbal abuse
* Do not listen to your partner’s ideas or suggestions
* Ask your partner to share feelings and when s/he does, EXPLODE
* Start conversations when your partner is busy, or better yet, exhausted
* Let disagreements fester
* Say what you think your partner wants to hear, then do as you please

But really though, why is there a need to fight? I can't imagine being so worked up over a boyfriend doing/not doing something. So what?!

I love my family, but sometimes they just do things that get on my nerves or start up a habit that bothers me. I'm usually a very calm person and while I'll bicker with them, I won't fight or yell. The same goes for a guy.

i've been with a girl. i hated how she talked about her ex's too god damn much. and used that on our fights. lol, we'd have fights where we'd see who hurt who more, it was so immature and ugh, i hated it. we called it a game. we got so vicious. we talked about our past partners and what we did before we got together. it's stupid!! don't do it. just ends up in tears.

Girls fuss over petty things and retaliate no matter how stupid the matter is.

Case in point:

^ Because women would rather bitch to someone face-to-face than bitch online without the other person's knowing.

And yes, you boys are bitching right now. Dunno if not doing it to her face makes you any better. ;)

Why not just stop complaining and try to solve the problem? We girls bitch a lot but if you try, we'll listen...if you're going to complain about lack of communication then at least try communicating first, right?

^ Nah I'm not hating on the thread, I know it's for lighthearted bitchery (which is why I joined in the conversation with some non-serious bitching myself, at least in the first bit). Just makes me laugh that you guys are complaining so vigorously in a similar manner that women do laugh.gif

I would post that in the women's thread in order to avoid this but 1) The thread is lame and 2) You guys read and dominate that one too. LOL

Because if you give a girl a black eye for not cooking your food on time, you get sent to jail. How's a man supposed to put his bitch in her place if the laws are rigged against us?

Fight on, Chris Brown.

yeah you better not be hating on this thread homie mad.gif

yeah the irony of us bitching about them bitching was why i originally wanted the thread. plus for genuine relief too. no doubt the guys know what each other are talking about cause girls really are crazy half the time.

i wanted the girls to make one that didn't suck, but that hasn't happened yet. you guys needa get on this.

From Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, haha:

QUOTE
'Always! That is a dreadful word. It makes me shudder when I hear it. Women are so fond of using it. They spoil every romance by trying to make it last for ever. It is a meaningless word, too. The only difference between a caprice and a lifelong passion is that the caprice lasts a little longer.'

I plea the 5th.

Actually.. no no I'll add this. Remember that crazy bitch, Sarah Palin? Do you know she wanted us to get involved with Russia... on a military level? In other words, she personally feels threatened by Russia, even though Russia isn't doing anything other than minding its own damn business and tryin to become a super nation like it once was, yet this crazy ass bitch thinks they're gonna come over sea and take over Alaska.

Women are too f*ckin emotional for politics. Look at that stupid bitch Nancy Pelosi.

that's extremely stupid then. sarah palin is too stupid to run the country, i agree with that, but that has no relevance on every other woman. same as nancy pelosi. what they do has nothing to do with whether a woman in general could run the country. there's much more intelligent SANE women out there than nancy pelosi or sarah palin.

i'm not gonna be killing myself if a woman runs the country. i'm not gonna be killing myself if anyone does though.

Nah man... I'm sorry, when that time of the month kicks in... they don't think straight. If the woman is on an early menopause, but like 5 years AFTER they've been through menopause, then by all means give it a shot. If they're still bleeding, I ain't believing, homie.

Sorry to offend any females here... but 10 years of experiencing women, I'll stick to my guns when I say a female leader is a dangerous leader. Plus they tend to be too liberal for my taste anyways.

With that said, that's all I have to say in regards to women and politics on this thread whistling.gif
