so in bio, we're talking about sensors, action potentials, IPSP/EPSP, all that jazz.

So like, you know when you get hit in the eye, you see a flash of light and that's because the receptors in your eye are stimulated but your brain registers it as light? My prof just said "poke your upper lip with a really sharp pencil and you'll feel something that has nothing to do with touch" and I'm sitting here like an idiot poking my lip and I can't figure out what it is sad.gif

And she refuses to say what it is because she doesnt wanna "ruin it."
