Alright... so apparently Firefox is being a whore. When I scroll down on a webpage, any webpage, sometimes I need to go back to the top of the page. So instead of scrolling my way up, I simply hit, "Home" and if I want to go to the bottom of the page, I simply hit, "End".

Well for some reason, this morning my "Home" & "End" keys were not working. Out of curiosity I decided to re-install Microshit Internet Explorer just to test it out. And fortunately for my keyboard, the "Home" & "End" keys were working.

I decide to go back onto Firefox and try a combination of keys using the "Home" & "End" keys. ALT+ doesn't work. But I found out that CTRL+ does work.

So... my question to anyone here is:

How the hell do I change it back to default so I don't have to press and hold the CTRL+ key?!?!?!!?!!!!

In Ubuntu 8.10 it works fine same with Windows Vista Ultimate. All OS' have the latest and updated Firefox. stubborn.gif

Son of a mother-whore. Apparently Firefox 3 is still so buggy that it causes specific keys to not work at all or to create a combo for hotkeys. In this case with me, I have to press and hold CTRL then press Home or End -.-

Firefox.. you're starting to look like Microshit. mad.gif

It's a bug in Firefox. Certain pages cause Home and End to fail to function. Not exactly sure why, but often it has to do with text areas in forms, combined with hot keys built into the form.

Ya, funny enough... I sometimes see my cursor blinking in odd places of pages, as if I can just start typing onto the page lol..

Ah well, gonna have to get used to using CTRL+Home/End =\

lol np... in a computer business when you're dealing with troubleshooting, you tend to use your keyboard more than your mouse to get from point A to point Z tongue.gif

Wow, that's weird. I've never had anything like that happen.

(Side note, I hate it when people talk about a shortcut that I don't know about and are like "Well, duh, everyone knows that." It makes me feel inadequate :()

Side convo: you have a 30% warning? I don't experience problems with the browser, if I am not in a text box, and I am actually on the firefox window, not the destop or another app.

Yep... Been waitin on someone to drop my warning level since it's been 3 days past 2 weeks now that it hasn't dropped -.-

Not really, It was like 11 tabs... I normally have around 15 tabs open majority of the time. shrug.gif

This is really a pain in the ass. :/ The hell happened? I even tried uninstalling some plugins/themes and it still doesn't work.
