Hi,
I'm thinking bout buying a SLR Camera ... I never had one before ... and i was always the Nikon kinna girl! .. So im really tendin to the D60 .. Does anyone of ya'll have any experience with SLR Cameras?! .. maybe even with the Nikon D 60 or 80!? .. if so maybe ya'll could tell me some pro or cons ... or just if u are satisfied with your camera .. Or if you have a different kind?! which? and what were the reasons that you bought this specific camera?! .. I'm also looking into the Canon EOS 1000 .. Heli |

im going to buy an SLR because it'll make me cultured and artistic because i can point and shoot an SLR at a keyboard and be artistic and cultured and im an idiot

I've got no experience with Digital SLRs, but I know a good bit about film SLRs.
I use a 1981 Minolta X-700, usually with either a 50mm lens or a 70-210mm lens. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minolta_X-700 I've heard a lot of good things and have seen a lot of good photography from the Nikon D series. Also, D80 is better than D60. |

sycophant and/or Kun are gonna come up in here and tell you that those cameras suck, lol
but they got legit opinions yo I use a D80, it's a bit outdated but it performs for me I dunno if I'd bother with a D60, it's like the problems of the D40 with the price of the D80 |

For a little more you can get a D80 which doesn't have the D60/D40's lens compatibility problemthe D40 should be great too though, especially if you're not doing too serious photography and lenses won't be a huge deal for you; D80 is more expandable if you need it though |
