Well, in defense of bonuses (not for execs, but normal people), those make up the majority of those people's income. But the other shit is infuriating.

Isn't it? I mean, it would've been one thing if he paid for it out of pocket, but he used Merrill's money! He's said he was going to reimburse them but still! I wish I had $1400 in my bank account and he spent it on a f*cking trash can. I hope it's the best trash can ever. I hope it's f*cking encrusted with diamonds and made out of solid platinum and can suck his dick.

My teacher told me today that Bank of America used some of its bailout money to pay for their superbowl pre-game show or something having to do with the superbowl.

Nothing is going to change until people start taking an active interest in who they are voting in.. especially on a local level. And being active in their local politics.... We keep voting these corrupt people into office ...

I don't disagree with the assertion that local politics are more important than most people think, but really, how would that help here? These are all policies coming from the federal level.

Ya i know but I think it will untimately help. The more honest people we vote in who arent out just for our money the better... I think only about 3% of America votes in local elections, if Im not mistaken.
