I like keeping my computer organized but it has gone a little out of control.
I organized my photos but have yet to organize my documents.
But mainly I want to know how you organize your photos? Cause I have a folder for gimp "creations" and I always keep the editable file as well as a png right next to eachother.
But eventually this will get out of hand.
I realize this thread cant get to much depth but I appreciate your help.

A clean freak,
-Joseph

I do the same thing. I have a "Photoshop" folder where I save the PSD & PNG just incase I want to edit the PSD again. And I keep my personal pictures separate.

I even boil my organization down to subjects.

Creations >> Icons >> Heroes ; Gossip Girl ; LOST ; Misc
There are more too, those are just the only ones I can think of without looking at it.

I'm not too OCD. It just makes finding things easier.

I started to organize my resources too by creator. Started to meaning I only did like 3 folders. Heh. I have 5 gigs of resources alone.

Thank GOD for external hard drives, man.

Dude...whats up with you emberfly? Chill?! And quite with the random spam everywhere.
I can never manage to fill my hard drives with stuff...
How much space does your itunes and stuff take up?
I have like 5gb in the music folder and my whole pictures folder is like 2Gb sad.gif

I want to be able to use my 160Gb external hard drive...

Pfffttttt. I have 14 gigs of music. I love music.

Over time, trust me it'll all add up. Mine is almost half full and I've had it not even a year.

if i had a constant flow of itunes money id prob have 500Gb of space used up. haha.
I heard you can run itunes with all of your music on a external hard drive. So no computer space is used.

That's what I do. It's all on my external. My laptop HD doesn't have much on it. Just a few programs and stuff.
