i just realized someone edited my post! heh, thanks :] for the lunar year sentence, i was gonna add it today. but, someone else did, i wish i could have that power! lollll, anywhooo, i didn't get any hung baos' this year ):!

I always feel guilty when I receive red envelopes... it's like my parents are trading money with my aunts and uncles (and other people who give us lai see), but all the money ends up in the children's hands.

Not that the guilt is strong enough for me to give the money away...

I didn't know Target sold lai see envelopes. That's lame. I like cute designs on mine.

My mom always has the best red envelopes. This year it's a gold Hello Kitty one. I know I'm too old for HK BUT I LOVE IT!

In Korean we would call you a 효 자 (hyoja) :]

haha target dosent sell lai see envelopes, it just an envelope thats red with nothing on it :]


like that envelope, not the card, lol :]

i only recived ONE red envelopes this year. but usually, there designed with chinese symbols in gold, or the animal you were born in. for example; ox, chicken, horse, rabbit etc. they're really cute ones ^___^!
