So I was super bored just now, so I started looking for pictures of the professors I'll have next semester on the school website. I had heard that my Microeconomics prof is super hot or something on ratemyprofessors.com, so, even though I knew I wouldn't be turned on or anything, I looked her up.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. SHE IS NOT HOT AT ALL. WTF.

When was the last time you got hyped up about (or you just heard a lot of good things about) something, but was totally disappointed in the end?

Haha. I think he said something along the lines of "I can contact the person in charge of the website and figure out the names of those who wrote the comments!" Or maybe I just imagined that part... I don't know. XD.gif

GTAIV, good game, just way overhyped. Seems as though they downgraded aspects that made San Andreas what it was.

I've been a die hard GTA fan since the first 2 on Playstation. And for some reason I started 4 and never finished it. I only got about 8hrs of game play. I just lost interest. So I guess you can throw another vote up there for GTAIV.

Heh, someone posted a new comment on ratemyprofs that said, "Well uh I didn't find her hot... She looks like a 40 years old with the body of a 20ish." lol

Yeah I did. I watched bits and pieces of it before, like at Ikea when I was really little and on the TV a couple of years ago... but this was my first time watching it in its entirety.

I thought the topic title was "PSSSSHIT"

I spent far too much on a bottle of wine that was incredibly hyped and was sorely disappointed. Hell hath no fury like a woman wine scorned.

Yeah.

Maybe it's because I watched it for the first time at a much older age than the targeted audience. Like, I kept questioning things throughout the movie. Plus Totoro and that cat bus were some scary ass things, what with their crazy eyes and all. =\

Meh, I just didn't think it was as great as everyone made it out to be. I mean, yaeh, Totoro's cute and I can still understand why people like it... I guess it's just not the kind of movie I can really get into.

P.S. guys, Joanne only likes animated films that include singing. A lot of it. Just kidding. Sort of.

I think you just passed the threshold age to appreciate a film like that. You have to have a certain amount of naivete to enjoy it. Only a kid could wish to jump upon Totoro's soft fluffy stomach and fly away in a plush cat bus.

...I guess that makes me a kid then. thumbsup.gif

Not really a disappointing discovery... more like a wth really?:

I always thought it was Shawn Ashmore who guest starred in "Veronica Mars" and "Smallville". I only just found out it was actually his twin brother Aaron Ashmore. And I was so sure I could tell them apart...

Edit: Okay, so it turns out Shawn was in "Smallville" too, playing a completely different character who (I presume) isn't related to Aaron's character in any way. What.
