After the tremendous success of Kanye West's Graduation, fans have been patiently waiting the arrival of his next brainchild. Well wait no more. Multiple blogs, including Nahright and respected DJ Semtex's official blog have begun reporting that Ye's next venture will be out before year's end. MTV UK has also reportedly received confirmation of the projects saying: "both Jay and Kanye are set to release new albums before the end of 2009. It's well known Jigga has been working on a new LP- likely to be called The Blueprint 3 - with another West produced track "Jockin' Jay Z" already leaked to the web. Kanye was not expected to release a new album in 2008 but the follow up to Graduation now seems likely to be with us in the near future!"

Kanye's next single will be called "Love LockDown" and his 4th LP is on track to hit stores in December. According to MTV UK (but not confirmed) "Love LockDown" will be available for download on Sept 8th.

I love Kanye. I'm just saying the title of his new single sounds retarded.

OMG, YES. If only they can clear their schedules to actually do/complete the album. When it does drop though, it's going to be like

*insert explosion sound and triple air-horn blasts here*

According to XXLmag.com, Kanye West is set to announce his new album this weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards. A source in Kanye's management camp told XXLmag late yesterday that "official word" on the new album will be coming Sunday night during his "explosive finale" closing out the show.

I know I dissed the title, but I like the song, at least from the VMA performance.

Was anybody else disappointed with his performance? Good single, but the performance was a letdown. I will admit, that Kanye is going a lil Britney now, which is understandable.

Yeah. The performance didn't have much of a point. The drummers were cool, and I appreciated the sparklers at the end, but other than that... Kanye's had much better performances. Can't always be on top, you know. What do you mean by "going Britney"?

Ever since Late Registration, I've come to the conclusion that his guest spots are a lot more enjoyable than his albums.

Teriyaki Boyz f/ KanYe West - I Still Love HER
Nas f/ KanYe West - Still Dreaming
Talib Kweli f/ KanYe West - In the Mood
Dilated Peoples f/ KanYe West and John Legend - This Way
Slum Village f/ KanYe West and John Legend - Selfish
The Game f/ KanYe West - Wouldn't Get Far
etc, etc, etc

That one he did with Dialated Peoples is very inspiring.

What I meant by him going Britney, was that he is starting to go a little crazy. Like I mentioned in chat last night, he is just now dealing with the death of his mother. I think that he never had to time to do with it, and it is finally starting to show on him physically, as well as mentally.

Kanye vs. Akon seems like such a random comparison to me. I mean, Akon's a singer and Kanye's a rapper, so...
