Simple, dear, my father has been working in the educational system since 1963, first as a high school teacher for 25 years & then now is still teaching as a professor at a major university... and he's been explaining to me for 15 years now how ALL of the educational standards have been lowered to accomodate girls & minorities. Don't even take his word for it- you've got to stop being so tiny minded and realize that the U.S. ranks very, very low in education on an international scale! I really wanted to stay out of here, but this is too funny. You say standards have been lowered to accommodate (that's two m's, hun) women, and yet men are now the ones lagging behind. Also, it should be noted, that many cultures that continue to treat their women like dirt are not exactly excelling in education either. Perhaps you should put a little more stock into those worthless liberal arts educations and improve your English skills before taking it upon yourself to reeducate us. |

QUOTE You're willing to bribe a test administrator just to get ahead? Well, there you go- there are your morals & that is so typical, and thus why so many are so dumbed down. I was being sarcastic. What do I read? 1984, The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter, Plath, poetry, books on history, Shakespeare's plays, etc. Comments? What about the men that get LAD? Are they worthless to? Not all women are secretaries and office assistants. Some have spent much time and hard work getting into higher ranking positions, and if that's what they're happy doing more power to them. Also, if stay at home mothers wish to take care of their children, that's fine too. Everyone has a right to do what they're comfortable doing, and some women want to focus on their career instead of having children, and some don't. It is no one's place to determine what a gender is supposed to do, therefore, women have the right to choose. Also, women working at Wal-Mart? Why does it matter where they work? Men work at Wal-Mart too. Having a job such as this is no more prestigious than a man working as a lawyer. Both of them do hard work, and that should be accounted for. They're not wasting time, they're partly doing what they want to do, and if men have that choice, women should too. All living beings are equal, and no amount of intelligence or strength can depreciate the value of life.
Not all women are what you call "whores". What can you define a "whore" as these days? Some one who has sex a lot, even in a committed relationship? Why can't men be defined as "whores" with such ease? A whore is more like being consistently promiscuous with many different men or women. However, a whore is not going out with friends and getting drunk and making some bad decisions. Nor is a whore someone who has sex with three or four different men or women. This word is too easily used these days, as is the word " pervert", but that's another argument. The education system is not being dumbed down for minorities and women, and that is a terrible and ill-thought out generalization. The value of education is decreasing because people are learning for money. If we only need to know certain things to go to college, get a degree, and go to work; why else would most people learn more than they have to? Certainly not for the enjoyment of seeking knowledge! Most every human being has the capacity to learn as much as they seek. The value of education is completely irrelevant to races or genders. However, it is relevant to the attitude of human beings, and with attitudes like yours, the educational value will continue to decrease. Oh, and about the daycare thing, can one article with hardly any relevant evidence really support an argument strongly against daycares? I think not. Honestly, daycares are fine for children. They interact, play, learn things they can't at home, and learn to share. Mothers can't interact with children the way a child's peers can. So what if a child's behaviour is sometimes bad? It doesn't mean they've been tainted by daycares, it just means they're going through normal puberty and are growing up. I'm sure you have done stupid things in elementary/middle school regardless of your pre-school environment. Much of what you're saying is just ridiculous modern skepticism. |

Actually, the better a society does is based on how equal minded the sexes are. take the Scandanavian countries for instance, their government, education, and work standards are rated in the top 5 out of the whole world. This is because the sexes are treated almost perfectly equal, mom and dad share the same gender roles. if we raised our children to be this way there would be no more bigotry from men towards women, we'd all respect one another. Also, reality2008, you keep mentioning the media and how its dumbiong down America. You are absolutely right! The women you see on tv do not represent real women at all. Real women are not dumb or ditzy, or all bitchy and catty. One day women will be equal, with all the great jobs you keep saying we dont want (We want them but the dominant men in society keep using their resources to keep us from climbing the ladder of success. Ever heard of the glass ceiling?) and you will have to shut up and take it. So why dont you go back to b or something you troll. Haha- that's funny- you obviously don't even know that the reason Switzerland's educational system is ranked in the top five is because they actually segregate children according to their capacities. Plus, Scandanavian countries don't have a psychotic black & Hispanic population who attempt daily to turn their educational system into a joke as they do here- hating everything about the U.S. with a F.U. attitude that would make Charles Manson blush. To equate a higher standard of education with a supposedly 'open' & socialist society illustrates how little thought you're putting into what you're even saying. China as a society treats it's women as second class citizens, always will and has for the last 10,000 years and has been been completely blowing us off the map educationally for a very, very long time & their economy is starting to surpass ours as well. This is why it's important to be well read, with a corresponding comprehension of the world you live in- meanwhile all you can talk about is 'diversity' & 'equality' - empty rhetoric & junk soical science that is intellectually bankrupt with an extensive history of failure that you do not have the attention span to research. Women simply blame men for their own incompetence and failures, meanwhile men have bent over backwards to do everything in their power to allow women into the workplace for decades... and it has been a dismal failure- a tanking economy, lowered standards, and industries fleeing the country because of EOE (that's right- only an insider like myself knows this- you'll never hear that on the news). |

Insulting someone in order to get a point across is along the lines of what you're arguing against. You don't seem very well read yourself, and although that's contradictory to what I said previously, at least I'm not arguing mindlessly. Also, what exactly have women blamed men for, and how have men bent over backwards to allow women in the workplace? I'm pretty sure it took women years of protesting and negotiating to receive the equality they have now. Support your argument if you know it seems contradictory. |

I knew someone was going to bring that up- do I have teach you everything? Public primary schools have become extremely hostile to boys- treating them as behaviorial problems for simply behaving as boys-hostile female teachers pressuring parents and school officials to put them on Ritalin for deacdes, etc., while the curriculum has become banal empty drivel with no substance or real world application- more suited for girls. This is why boys have lost interest in school as a whole starting in primary and are falling behind. But in the end it is a hollow 'victory' for girls because now the schools in the U.S. are a joke. As far as cultures who treat their women as second class citizens and have a far better educational system than the U.S.- I guess you forgot about 25% of the world's population- China. Maybe you should slow down on gender studies along with worrying about pettiness like my typos- then maybe you would achieve more in life than moderator for a message board forum. |

Either that, or you are so deeply confused that it would take years of re-education just to get you up to speed as a functional adult. Just to untangle the mountain of misconceptions you have here would require you to read a stack of books. |

Maybe you should slow down on gender studies along with worrying about pettiness like my typos- then maybe you would acheive more in life than moderator for a message baord forum. Female teachers are not hostile to all boys, again, you're generalizing. Female teachers are hostile to boys AND GIRLS that are stubborn and unwilling to follow the rules. Also, are you in any position to say which curriculum is more suited towards a gender? By the way you're typing, it's evident that you're not. Males aren't falling behind either, I see many males succeeding in school, and this is because they have respect for all teachers (male or female) and all curriculum choices whether they're suited for them or not. No curriculum is going to be suited to each individual student, it's unavoidable, unless a student has a private tutor. Every gender/race puts up with it, so it's not causing males to fall behind. It's all about the person's attitude. The reason China has such a wonderful education system is because those children slave to be in those top schools, they work hard because they have to. Both Chinese males and females study hard to get in these schools because they don't have the opportunities we have here. It makes sense. Also, what makes your life accomplishments so wonderful that you must put down others whom you know nothing about besides being a "moderator on a message board forum". Trolling said message board forum is just as much as an accomplishment as being a moderator. edit: QUOTE I'm sorry, but how old are you? You sound like you're about 12. It turned into a debate, it got moved to debate. So what you're trying to say (and I'm having to explain for you because you're being repulsively catty & nauseatingly tedious) is that when a thread turns into a debate on this board, you move it to debate. And please spare me the 'you need to read he rules' line- I have a life. Fine- whatever- so you have the power equivalent to a lunch lady, "No, you can't have seconds on meatloaf, those are the rules of the cafeteria." |

Here's the two categories of U.S. females- the self absorbed entitlement princess with a grossly distorted sense of superiority- for what reason no ones's really sure.. & delusions she's a 'career' woman..
![]() And then the raging psycho/confontational Femarroid from Hell ![]() Both are venereally diseased sluts and any man would have to be out of his mind to actaully want to marry either one of these. Marriage.. that's just a joke in the U.S. anymore. ![]() |
