I can f**king care less if the earthquake is dangerous or not. Nor will I "chill". It's my first time, and to have the f**king ground shake beneath my feet scared the f**k out of me. If I have to be thoroughly prepared for the next one, so be it.

I bet we'd be hella scared if it were our first tornado. We just grew up in Cali, so we're used to it.

Although being "used to" tornadoes seems a bit out there.

LOL.
My stepdad just randomly came up to me and was all like:

"...So did you know there was an earthquake in LA?"
Me: "Gasp! OMG, are you f**king serious?"
Him: "Yeah. But it was only a 5.8. It wasn't that bad. Not a 7"
Me: "Sounds bad to me."
Him: "What channels CNN?"

Dumbass.

i only felt the aftershock at alhambra high school.

it was like .. 4/5 point something.

I was there. _unsure.gif I was on the third floor, so I was freaked out.

My class didn't know wtf was going on, so people started laughing. I just thought it was a loud noise because there was construction across the street, and the room next to us was always loud. My teacher was all calm and eating his onion rings. We evacuated the building and then resumed class. ( sad.gif ) My friend sent me a text saying, "Is it just me, or did the ground start shaking?" LOLLL.

My Biology teacher is "used to" tornadoes. Back then, they were so small, she could just be playing in the backyard and one could just pass by her. Lol.

i was thinking the same. an addition to that, i thought there was an accident with the construction like .. something just hit the wrong building. biggrin.gif i was on the 3rd floor too. it was so funny when everyone just ran under the table especially the teacher ... even the uneducated "cool" ones. they were laughing hella crazy.

haha. i was hoping to get off earlier. earthquake is much safer than tornado, imo.

Lol, nobody went under the table until it was done. O_O I thought I was going to feel claustrophobic because I was up so high, but thank god I was in the building with fewer classes. Earthquakes do seem safer than tornadoes, but I wouldn't know first-hand.

haha. i was at CVS when it happened!
i was getting acne cream with my mom.
and then the entire giant row shelf started shaking.
and i was staring at it like 'wtf is going on?'
and my mom was like 'EARTHQUAKE!' so we made a run for it.
and i almost ran out of the store with the clean&clear stuff.
but then it stopped. haha, so i ended up paying for it -___-
if the earthquake had lasted longer, it would've been free for me! :D

Uh. No. There is a camera. It's just so obvious that you ran out with a product in your hand.

haha yeah. it took me like a minute after the earthquake stopped for me to realize the thing was still in my hand. my brain could be so slow sometimes -___- seriously, if i left with it, it would've been totally unintentional.

Nope I did not feel it at all I live in MA so it isn't a common spot where you would get an earthquake.
