What is your occupation, and how well would you say you get paid (or just give your specific hourly rate/salary if you don't mind).

Would you say you make just enough to support yourself alone, a small family, that plus some nice extras, or straight baller status?

Or broke phi broke... sad.gif

I'm BROKE! I had 5 € today and guess what I did? Instead of using the money to call for a job, I got french fries and soda. And now, I only have 0,50 €

I work in an insurance company selling insurance and providing customer service. I get paid decent money, but since I work very little hours, it doesn't feel that way.

I'm a waiter in the holidays, and a bar tender while at school.

My pay is Ok, especially given that I get decent tips in the resteraunt for the most part, but being a full time student I don't make enough to actually support myself without student loans.

I probably could just about, especially if I went full time.

I'm a professional grad student. I make $1360/month, plus free tuition.

It's enough to pay for rent and food, and occasionally some other things.

apparently some girl that lives in my area makes 4,000 a week from babysitting and i think its for the whole summer.
The family is obviously pretty rich and just tells her to keep the kids out of her sight.

I want that job

^ That's insane. The girl would hypothetically be earning a 6 figure salary!

Im still trying to figure if its 4,000 per week or for the summer. Though my mom heard the news from someone else who said 4,000 per week.
Still its unbelievable.

TOPIC MERGED WITH http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90577

MUAHAHAH.

Right now I work at the UCSD Science & Engineering Library as a Circulation Assistant. Actually, there's like, 20-ish other people who work there too, with the same job position as me, so it's chill. We check out books to patrons (academics, staff, affiliates, etc.). We shelve carts of books that are lying around or returned, so that they can be checked out again as soon as possible if patrons may need to check out those particular books.

$9.50/hour, and I usually work $4-5 hour shifts, but I only "actually do work" for 1 hour. I sit around at a desk for the remaining hours. xmas.gif

I have 2 jobs at the moment, leaving the first one in a few weeks though. I work at the mall at La Senza (basically the Canadian Victoria's Secret) and I make $8.50/hour there plus a lil' commission and then I work for a videographer editing stuff like dance recitals, conferences, random events, etc. and I do other administrative stuff plus a lil' website stuff for him. He pays me $13/hour.

For the last like...month and a half I've been working over 40 hours a week combining both jobs so I've made decent money...but I don't have much to show for it. sad.gif Too much stuff I've been doing and I just got Larry an iPhone. =p

I'm a music major.

I work at the school, actually, very very part time (like 10 hours a week part time). All I do is answer the phone and help students/faculty members with computer problems. I also work full-time (aka when I get a chance) for a guy in Tulsa who has three websites I maintain on a weekly basis. That's what actually pays the bills.

Good girlfriending there!

I am currently annoyed with my work, as they have given me ONE effing shift this week, despite apparently claiming to be understaffed when they asked for me back. There are literally NO other jobs going at the moment, either, or I would be somewhere else.
