Continuation of where volume 1 left off.

How is this not acceptable? Never once did I mention post porn in your sig. I just said put up a sexy avatar. Someone may put a pic of their fav celebrity fully clothed and consider that sexy. My topic should be reopened.

I'm going to agree that there was no reason to close it. That's like shutting down a club. Why not close down other clubs, like the Twilight Club, KPOP Club? This thread is PG-13, and doesn't break any rules..

Because the last thing we need is to encourage others to stick jiggling boobs in their signatures. While it does give a rough guideline of a 'PG-13' level of maturity in the Community Guidelines, the staff reserve the right to evaluate signatures and other images as to whether or not they are appropriate. I'm sure that it has been expressed to you that that this "sexy sig movement" goes beyond the limit of what has been deemed tasteful and appropriate.

I'm no advocate of censorship, but we all really shouldn't have to worry about how other people's avatars and signatures are going to appear in any sort of remotely public setting.

It's different from the other clubs because the other clubs don't push the limits of any general societal standards. But for what it's worth, I think they're all stupid as f**k.

So wait let me get this straight, how is posting boobs in sigs inappropriate if their covered with a bikini? If thats the case BayWatch shouldn't have never aired on regular television. The particular part where the girl is grabbing her breast in my sig is from an audition tape of MTV's Real World. Millions of teenagers and adults watch that show. So what were getting at here is this is a children's site and we should have care bears in our sigs instead?

No, it has nothing to do with children. It has to do with it not being work appropriate. Or home appropriate, for those who have parents who concern themselves with what their kids are viewing online. Etc, etc. This may not be issues you have to concern yourself with, but that doesn't mean you should be able to alienate everyone else who uses this site. Yes, everyone could turn avs/sigs off, but why would they want to do that just because you like to see how much you can get away with?

And actually, I do post on a really active forum in which all avatars have to be of something either cute or delicious. Most all the posters are male, 18-25 (give or take). The rules are to prevent borderline and tasteless things such as giant boobs from being all over the site, so that people may post at work and whatnot.

Also, boob appearances on shows are not the main point of shows. If we have 50 or 20 or however many people posting on here with "sexy sigs," that's excess.
