Sometimes I'm just far too nice for my own good. I think I'm over it. I'm sick of playing devil's advocate for people. Most people don't appreciate it anyway and more often than not, it ends up biting me in the ass.

Have you ever tried anything in vein, for the "right" reason only to find out that the best thing for them is to be a complete ass like you wanted to be in the first place? A guess a nicer way to put it is, "tough love." Have you tried to go about something in a nice way only to find that if you had a more assertive approach, the person would have been better off?

Yea, I think I use to be pretty nice. Then I just got sick of everyone being a bitch or a-hole back to me while being nice so now I just have a attitude back.

Ugh, yes.

This past year my friend has been being a bit a of a dick about school and stuff, basically not doing any assignments, not turning up to exams, etc, and then whining about how he was all f**ked up and stuff... basicallygot sick of trying to be nice about it.

Waste of time.

Ugh, middle school sucked for me.
I was picked on so much and people spread so many rumors.
There was actually one girl who ended up turning our whole grade against me. That was fun .____.
But after that im able to stand up for myself better and i do have a bit more of an attitude at times.

Doesnt help when you have friends that are assholes because you never really want to blow up on them no matter how tempting
or atleast for me it is.

I would have to apply this to this chick that I am ATTEMPTING to deal with right now (yeah that girl kc). I am always so nice to her, and do everything for her, but she likes guys that beat her up and treat her like shit. Maybe at this party that I am going to, I will spit in her mouth and call her a two dolla ho? shrug.gif

I never understand those types of girls. They want a thug in their life and then come home with 30 knots on they head and then want you to be they man after its all said and done when you tried to approach them earlier and they didn't give you a chance. I send them straight back to they man even if their heart is crying out for me.

Those types of women drive me nuts. It really gives our gender a bad name. How much of a sadist do you have to be? I'll never understand or have patience for self inflicted injury, physical or emotional. It's especially problematic when they solicit your pity.

I'm always an ass to people. It takes way too much effort for me to try to hint at things. There have been times when I have tried, but I have failed. Luckily, though, the people that I know well enough to give my opinion to don't care. Sometimes they prefer I just be honest with them and not pussyfoot around.

Still finding the right balance in all this. Meaning - balancing an assertive to not so bitchy approach. (Sorry, I'm out of it and not dealing with spelling and the like right now lol).

I'm finding more and more that going with my natural instinct is far better than the "nice" way of doing things sometimes.

For example - this morning I nicely signed for a couple of heavy boxes that came in (from UPS). Some guy asked if I was going to carry them in. I told him, "no, I need to change my tampon." No questions asked, he carried them in himself.

So THERE!
