You've never heard of mudskippers? Walking catfish? Lungfish?

My grandfather was a lungfish, so I know about this.

no, because like other mammals, it gives birth to live young and nurses them with mammary glands. Fish lay eggs.

Whales are not fish. They don't breathe air "a little". All whales always breathe air.

Also, there are oviparous mammals, or mammals that lay eggs. The platypus and the echidna both do.

You're right, I would lie about zoology because I want to be cool. All the hip kids are discussing the taxonomy parameters of the tuatara these days.

Lol, zoology is boring.

My brother had a betta one time and that thing didn't die for a long time. Otherwise, the only time I've had a fish is when I've gone fishing and caught one. And cooked them. I don't eat them, though, because they are gross.

The thing about whales being mammals that breathe only air (can't breathe underwater) is something I learned when I was in elementary school. They don't breathe involuntarily like we do - they can go several minutes between breaths. I thought that was common knowledge, so I believe that Reidar didn't just take that information from some website. xD
