Yesterday I was in IMs with my friend when she told me that when she was little she was knocked out by a nut. I guess she was playing outside with her brother and was under a tree when something (a squirrel, I guess) dropped a nut out of the tree. It hit her in the head as she was running and she hit the ground and was knocked out.

So, have any of you had embarressing injuries?

I think one of mine would be when one of my brothers shot me in the knee with a BB gun.

A goose once bit me in the bum, when I was little.

Not much of an injury though ..

When I was around 3 or 4, I grabbed a toy gun from my brother's hands (I was a bratty kid), proceeded to run around like a madwoman (madchild?) and I ran straight into a wall, the toy gun jamming into my face. Now I have a thin white scar on my chin.

Moral: don't steal shit from your brother. Karma is a bitch.

^LOL, that sucks.

I can't think of anything really embarrassing that has happened, injury wise.

I've got one for an unregistered friend.

The first time he had an energy drink, he passed out, but it wasn't directly because of the caffeine.

He put a bucket on his head and ran into a wall.

When I was seven or eight, I was called to do something while a TV show I liked was on. Once I was done whatever I had to do, I ran as fast as I could back to the living room... on my way, I made a sharp turn and my eye hit a stair railing edge. Yeah, I got a black eye from that........

I ran into a coffee table when I was three, chasing after my
cousins. Had to get stitches in my eyebrow. laugh.gif

I jumped off a double seated swing when I was six, and it came back and hit me in the head. I had 32 stitches, inside and out.

Also, on Easter, once, my cousin was trying to open her new bat she had gotten from her mom, and it was wrapped in plastic. So, I put the bat between my legs, plastic in one hand, bat in the other, then pulled really hard. It came back and hit me in the head. I had a huge knot on my forehead the whole day.

Lastly, when I was ten, my cousins and I were on this big dirt pile that was over at my granddads house. We were bored and hitting the dirt with hammers. Then, all of the sudden, my cousin hit me in the head with the hammer, also causing a knot on the back of my head. hammer.gif

When I was in 6th grade, I was getting out of the pool, and hit my vagina on the metal ladder. And it hurt really bad and I started bleeding and went to the emergency room. I now have a sideways vag.

Not really. mellow.gif

A few years back I was skating over at a local park and I went to grind this ledge, ended up falling 3 or 4 feet onto the concrete, and I landed on one finger, broke it into the shape of a 7. Embarrassing part was that I got up and kept skating without realizing I'd hurt myself, took a few minutes until a friend told me my hand looked funny.

Oh, ouch. You're lucky that you didn't take your eye out!

That reminds me of when I was little and brothers and I were outside throwing snowballs at each other and my brother picked up a chunk of ice from the driveway and hit me in the temple. In like 5 seconds I had a huge egg bump on the side of my head.

I was once head banging on my bike when I was with my old best friend. Then I guess I head banged too much and fell of my bike. I still have a HUGE scar on my elbow from where I fell. It was a sick injury.

one time after school I was at home with my brother, sister & my brother's friend when the phone rang. i remembered i was waiting for a phone call and jumped up and ran down the hall to pick it up. I wasn't wearing any shoes (only socks) and i didn't stop in time and slammed into the little table the phone was on which launched my skinny body into the wall. i somehow sprang my ankle and had bruises on both my shins and knees.

Hahaha I still feel really stupid about this.
When we first moved into our house in Saint Charles about 7 years ago, we were still bringing in boxes of our stuff...

We had this dolly to move boxes and furniture around..
It looked like fun to ride on xP
Thing is, there were two screws sticking ouut on each side.

So me being well... me, I sat right on them, and then scraped against my butt like CRAZY.
I was like. 6 ok? So i was walking around on my underwear.... X_X

I had a scar on each buttcheek for 4 years....

lmao

Haha wow, mine aren't that bad but they're still stupid.

I was in pre-k and my bike has training wheels, and I started going down my neighbor's drive way. And I don't know how but I fell off my bike and flew in the air, then my face slid across the cement and I was bleeding all over, then we went inside and my mom made me put a wet paper towel covered in salt on my face. stubborn.gif

And then another time me and my brothers were playing on our treadmill, and we were taking turns sitting on the moving mat thing, and it was my turn, and one of my brothers were in front of me and wouldn't get out of the way so I was sitting there waiting, and then the mat started to pull up my shirt and it scratched my whole back and I started bleeding.

I ended up with a large bruise on my arm from spinning around the kitchen to the New Pornographers and then falling into a cabinet door.
