At home, I have a HP laptop, Windows Vista. At school, they ONLY use Mac computers. I like how Mac computers look but it's a bit confusing for me because I've been using Windows for... ever. Plus they are super expensive, but that's because theres lots of programs already installed into the computer, AKA slow performance. It's your choice. I would actually buy a Mac, but I'm so broke. -_-

I used to be a pc lover/user and I just bought a macbookpro for the hell of it as my first laptop because people said how great they where. I can honestly say Ill never buy another for the REST of life. No it isnt hard to use, you get used to it like any thing else.

Anti-Apple for life. (The only Apple products or software I own is Quicktime, and reason being is because I need it for video web browsing.

Um... if a lot of programs are running ON ANY COMPUTER, of course it will slow down. yea I've been using windows forever, but I started using macs back junior year in high school. I still barely knew anything, but it was still really easy, imo. I mean, there's not much you have to navigate through anyways. But I guess if you are too used to the "start" button to navigate to programs, it can get confusing, lol.

Sulfur - well, it's understandable. Depends on preferences. But I wouldn't mind switching back to PCs. I'd still use a mac sometimes though. Just because I like the bouncy icons in OS x. :D

I have an iBook, and I was thinking of getting a Mac Pro before I go to grad school in the fall, but I'm kind of getting sick of some things about Mac OS X. Right now, I'm leaning more towards a Sun Ultra 24, which is comparable to the Mac Pro but about $800 cheaper, all said and done. I'd probably run Linux on it (maybe Debian or Fedora Core, I haven't decided -- probably Debian; or maybe Gentoo, I dunno...).

I'm so excited, I get my macbook in a week! I've always used pc's & I personally like pc's more BUT pc's don't have Final Cut Pro. And I've heard that for video stuff and graphics, macs are much better.

Final Cut Pro is, like, $1000.

I got my iMac like two days ago, and I'm loving it. But damn, it's so fucking hard to get things done on here. At least for now.

Since I'm doing some volunteer work at my high school, they're going to put it on my computer for free. All their computers have it so I dunno Apple gave them some kind of deal. There's no way I would be able to get it!
