if you like him i say go for it, after all age is just a number... but if you think you'd be too uncomfortable then just don't bother. it's a personal choice kind of thing. it's all about how you feel and if you think it's something you want.

I agree with just going out with him if you like him. I thought you were much older than him, but you guys are ONLY a year apart. Lighten up.

don't let the age thing get to you, ESPECIALLY IF HIS PERSONALITY IS A WINNER. this boy should score insane bonus points for having a personality/maturity level up to par with an 18 year old girl. we all know boys have that tendency to mature a tad bit later, so this guy is definitely rare. of course, give yourself some time to get to know him better and see how you two truly interact with each other. I know there are definitely more couples where the guy is older and whatnot, but it's okay! don't get caught up with the age thing!

Actually that can be a big difference when you're at that age. Now when you're looking and 20 somethings and older you can say age is only a number.

Totally depends on your maturity and his.

I'll say NO. He's 16 and you're 18. He seems 'mature' right now. But like you said, get to know him first, be friends with him. For your sake, I hope he is mature but from experience, I'm not convinced.

im going to say that it depends if he's immature or mature. guys are about 80% of the time always more immature than their real age. and girls tend to be more mature for their age. so it's that factor. if he's a nice guy, go for it. but get to know him better. i mean if he still does immature things and wouldn't defend you if someone was poking fun at you, it's not a good sign. you neeed a man, and not a boy.

Its only off by a year or less? If you think hes cute now, in a few years, him being younger than you isn't going to matter for shizaaat. I hope you understand what I'm saying.
