When I first came to U.S in 4th grade, I was sent into ESL and I would get confused between kitchen and chicken. Not that I didn't know the different, but the pronounciations always confused me. Haha. But I never make that mistake anymore!
Was I the only one?

i didn't make a mistake between those words but i was in ESL in 1st or 2nd grade.
I got scared by the crazy teacher she was old and wrickled skin and she had huge eyes i didn't understand what the word "ghost" meant so around halloween she tried to explain it to me. now that i think bout it the scary ghost in that room was her ahahhaha anyways i still remember u in 4th grade i think my mom still has the 4th grade class photo with her oh so dear memories of her children growing up  that was u then and this  is u nowhahahahahhaha come on admit it |

hehe, that's kind of cute, mixing up kitchen and chicken together. i've always lived in the US so yeah. what was kind of funny was back in high school, one year they thought i was suppose to be in ESL for some reason.

I didn't take ESL when I moved here from the philippines.. problem was.. I always said TREE when I meant to say THREE XD it was funny though.

i always get mix up by
Mash potatoes and SMASH potatoes but not anymore, i been saiding it for a long period of time .. what a shame ..

i went to esl too...but when i moved i stopped going to esl...i still get a lot of words mixed up..like thought and taught...
