So I was sitting there, minding my own busines, when Inspiration came along and kicked me in the head.
Sometimes when I look at unedited images I'll get an instant freeze-frame picture of how they would look converted in a layout. I find that when I get the funny feeling of 'hey, that would look good', my designs don't suck. Does anyone else get this sort of feeling when they see potential layout-material? |

I don't.
But BucketHead uses hardcore porn as inspiration for his music!

I do, but when I try to transfer that into Photoshop it doesn't always work out the way I wanted it, or at all. Scratch that. It mostly doesn't work out the way I want it or at all. |

I get that a lot. I don't have much time anymore, so sometimes when I'm browsing the web and see an image or two and get an image in my head of the potential they have I get eSad for a bit because I know I don't have time to do anything with them.

yes! sometimes i'll be browsing through the stock photos and all of sudden i'll picture how it would look as a layout or a banner. it happens at the most random times too. or often i catch myself dazed off when looking at a random object picturing how it would look if i took a picture of it and messed around with it. but i also have barely anytime, and when i do have time i have no resources to complete my ideas! sucks...

My inspiration usually comes looking through stock images & i see the pic as a banner etc Then it evolves into a layout.It doesn't always work out as i would like though lol.

i do that too! i will also visualize how certain images or brushes would look together. it also helps to sketch it out
 i also get inspired by fonts....that's why i recently downloaded over 50 of them (@_@) |
