I have few of these shirts without the pockets, they are button-up and collared. I'm wondering if their is a certain name for this type of shirt? If anyone knows any brands that make them specifically like that, please lemme know. Long or short sleeve work either way. =]

nope. people prefer having pockets, while others don't. it's just all about taste of styles.

it still call a dress shirt with/without pockets. Almost every store has it. You just have to look for it. Try expressfashion.com.

You gotta get ones with the pockets and put your pens in a pen protector.

Try expressfashion.com.

I like the style and fit of the dress shirts from Express (I used to work there), but the ones from Banana Republic are much better quality fabric-wise.

Well, some stores might call the shirts different names, but yea generally they are dress shirts, as everyone has stated. I think the ones with a front pocket look kind of.. old-ish, if you know what I mean. I think the pocket makes the shirt less sleek, I guess. But guys in dress shirts <3
