I go out to eat 7 days a week, so the answer is no. If somebody would teach me how to cook or at least give me a manual on some dishes, that would be cool, as I am going to be going on a strict diet starting tomorrow.

lol, I was kinda adding to Tama's post. I don't really like Rachel Ray, she's annoying. I think Diana needs her own show, lol. I would totally watch... but then it would be like Kinky Cooking with Diana. *insert smiley cracking whip*

I can't cook. =( I have my mom and/or boyfriend do it for me. I'm trying to learn, though. I mostly burn everything. Yummy.

When I try to grill it in the skillet, I always mess it up. I really need to learn how to cook, as I will be moving out at the end of the year.

Well I have multiples, they're categorized by ethnic dishes. Jamaican, Dominican, Cuban, Italian/Sicilian, American (which is really a book of desserts), Colombian, Brazilian etc... have 34 books to be exact.

It's your choice of what type of category you're lookin for.

=\ my mom used to work 3 jobs... only saw her when I would wake up for school. Had to learn how to cook on my own, then I got interested in cooking... it's one of the elements that made me more mature before my age.

Honestly? I don't think so? Maybe turkey? Or like Buffalo/Elk/Deer stew? I really don't know. Barnes and Noble doesn't have American cuisine cook books, only had desserts.

Recommendations on cookbooks would be great. Specifically of the hispanic and italian genre. I want to go to a sushi making class too. Wow, I am becoming more intellectual by the second even though I am jobless! biggrin.gif

Isn't American cuisine, like, French fries and burgers? And deer meat?

I know Wisconsin cuisine is cheese, beers, and brats XD.gif

I have a ton of cookbooks, mainly deserts and German ones. I like the ones with pictures of the final product in them the best, because then I know if what I made turned out the way it should be.
