if she get pregnant i aint gonna make her get an abortion.. i'll keep the baby.. but if i say no to her.. am i mean or selfish../

If you are worried about getting her pregnant, have her go on birth control (while still using a condom). Some insurance companies only charge like $10 a month for it. That's a lot cheaper than a kid.

But still, it's not selfish of you. I wouldn't want no baby and it's kinda cute that you are scared of that shit. For once, a boy is thinking with his brain and not his p33n.

Wearing two condoms does not work <,< it just slips right off, maybe if it was a dry condom with no sort of spermicide or lubricant.

Ah, my girlfriend just talked her mom into the pill, but said the reason for it was just because she had killer periods.

no glove = baby love
=/

unless you're on the pill, i guess, but still. it's not really a guarantee for safety.

lol, the pill helps a lot for bad periods. lighter flow, less cramps = all a plus, imo.

you're being reasonable, not selfish. it may be difficult to say no, even in the heat of the moment, but try to think to yourself "am i ready to be a parent?"

because that's the risk you're taking everytime you have sex, even with protection.

I don't think that's true. My mom's been on for like 30... zipped.gif shrug.gif

The positives seem to outweigh the negatives. And Rachel, you're lucky; mine are $30

Her mom was the one that suggested it, but we've talked about it before. She's only 17 so I don't think she could have gotten it herself, even though her mom didn't go to the doctor with her. Idk. Anyway, her mom said that because she has it doesn't mean things could start happening. I really wanted to be there to say "too late".

Ok... you're right, not ALL women get this side effect. But the side effect is still in existence.

Sure, turn over the box and read the consistencies (what the drug consists of), then do a lil research on each of the chemicals. Over all, after long period of use... the natural hormones which are supposed to be produced at any given time that the body needs it to.. will diminish (won't put out as much as it's supposed to) or it just won't at all. Which leads to all kinds of physical and psychological health problems later.

It's kinda like steroids and testosterone, after long periods of use, the natural testosterone is weak, thus making a man more lethargic, physically weaker than other typical males in that age range, loss of hair etc...

Introducing foreign substances to the body in general which only takes over the process of certain hormones, over time isn't good at all. Any nutritionist can tell you this, in the world of nutrition/health this is a no-brainer.

The "pill" is one of the reasons why the depression rate has risen in the U.S. at an alarming rate.

yeah, the pill has side effects... but don't get the shot! i did and it made me gain 10 lbs. i think alot of people have that problem.... but that was a long time ago. but, the pill helps alot with iregular periods and extreme menstral cramps. It depends on the person really.
