I was in the car and i seen this really im gonna say "heavy" woman, i'm not gonna be mean and say "fat ass bitch" or somethin you know. but yeah i seen this really really heavy lady she was probably 300 or 400 pounds if not more. she was really wide, and she was walking. I kept thinkin to myself damn how do they walk? isn't hard with all that weight. It actually made me feel bad i mean isnt there something we can do for all these obese women, men and kids?(in a positive way)

I feel so bad because eventually all these obese people will have heart attacks from eating unhealthy and lack of exersize.

I'm not sayin all obese/fat people are unhealthy because i know this one girl who does eat healthy, does exersizes and really watches the calories and stuff.. but shes obese.

also, ive noticed there are soo many Burger Kings, Mc Donalds, Wendys, KFC, ect ect.. aren't there any 'fast food' healthy places?
Like:

QUOTE
Drive-thru: Can i take your order?
Customer: Yeah lemme get a turkey burger, bag of baked chips, and a small apple juice.

other then..

Drive-thru: Can i take your order?
Customer: Yeah lemme get a double whopper meal, large fries, large coke and a hershey pie..

I mean foreal, are there any like healthy places that are like 'fast food' places? I think that would be better for everyone

Not to sound mean, either - but it is a lifestyle choice. Fast food was always meant to be unhealthy, with a side order of grease and extra heart failure.

Incidently, I was in the States last week and WOW. Food and eating seem topical, to say the least. Even the adverts on the television - food, lawyers and cars (and that catchy Subway commerical. Five dolla...five dolla foot loooooong.)

Yeah, I hate all the fatty foods. I hardly go to fast food reasturants if I can help it, but its always so difficult, especially when my friends all meet up in the Subway near school stubborn.gif

I don't eat fast food, because honestly I've always hated fried food. And a couple years ago I got food poisoning, and ever since than I have a huge lack of trust with other people preparing my food. I HAD to eat out when we drove to Montana, but I was still pretty iffy than. A lot of fast food places have a few things that aren't terrible for you, but a lot of things (like, hm, a salad perhaps?) are stilled filled with calories and fat.

Personally, eating out is a rip off. You go to Olive Garden to get some pasta and they sell it for $10 a plate, when you could make it all yourself for even cheaper.

Problem is... healthy food is costing more than cheap fast food. Fruits and vegetables went up in price. So even restaurant prices went up with it. If anyone has noticed, so has the fast food.

Oil price goes up = everything goes up

Ask your parents if the prices of fruits, vegetables, and meat has went up. They'll most likely say, "girl, don't even get me started". My mom flips out because the cost of plantains and bananas went up =\

I don't eat fast food; If we (my family and I) go out to eat more than a couple times a month, it's a lot.

I agree with S-Majere. I do think that people who are obese do make that decision for themselves. They chose to eat unhealthy things and not try to turn their health around when they start to gain too much weight.

Though, Illmortal makes a good point too. It is expensive to buy healthier foods, not even just fruits and vegetables. Like, those 100 Calorie snak things are overly priced, in my oppinion.
But I really think in the long run, even if it's more out of your pocket now, isn't it worth being healthy?

I eat fast food all the time. I need the calories.

Of course, saturated fat plays integral roles in health and dietary cholesterol has little correlation with blood cholesterol, but everyone knows that.

Hell yeah.
Even in the industry food cost is CRAZY.

Just the other day I put an order for the usual stuff and the price usuallly paid out is like 560 something dollars well because of fuel and food going up it skyrocketed to like 634 dollars.

Help them because they are fat? Whatever, if they don't take the step to go get help and stop eating as much, or even want to get help and get healthier.

Then I hope they have a f**king heart attack and die. I HATE people that sit there and stuff their faces with 3,000+ calories a day and then go home and talk about how depressed they are. Or even the really fat ones that talk about how they can't stop eating. Its pathetic.

It was their choice to get that fat. I have absolutely no respect or sorrow for any of them.

Except for the obese kids, that are at least under 10 years old because when its that young, then it falls back on the parents that I have no respect for.

Anyway I'm vegetarian so I don't eat fast food. Also after the movie Supersize Me came out a lot of fast food places are taking a healthier out look on things they are serving, some places are serving apple juice and apple slices. Also burger king has a veggie burger now as well. But getting a fast food place that is full of healthy stuff? Good luck, I mean they are slowly rising, there is places like panera bread and mcalisters deli.

But technically that doesn't mean he/she is American. Because they could very well be from another country and then moved here.

so i guess technically you could still look stupid.

Whether I'm bsing or not, honestly, subway is unhealthy. It'sso loaded with over 500 calories. Well, that's what it shows on the napkin, butit doesn't tell you everything so I'm very suspicious about the company'stendency to hide certain scary information. I know all company want to displaycertain images without providing any type of misleading information to destroytheir traditional image.I bet those subway sandwiches are all loaded with cholesterol, carbs, andhidden things.Sometime, the world seem to play tricks and illusions on us when it's really not true. It's all about making money, being successful, and reaching theirAmerica Dream. Because, really, that's what America'sreally about .... again, American Dream especially indepedence.

ay to hell with it.

Unless you're illegal, doesn't that still make you american?
i mean, you are hopefully a citizen and all, am i right?
then again, im not exactly positive when people are considered "american"

[/end spam]

Personally, people who don't do anything about their weight and it's their own fault they became overweight in the first place and then feel sorry for themselves disgust me.

Basically most everything Insurmountable said.

I haven't actually eaten fast food for a few years. And before that was only the occasional visit when my rents took us.

Oh man.. the last time I ever ate Mcdonalds was when I ordered a #3, large size with a sprite; which is a double quarter pounder meal. The meat was all dry yet soaked in grease/oil. The french fries were all stale like.... all crunchy and greasy as well, blah! Never again have I eaten Mcdonalds food. sick.gif

True story. I stopped eating at subway as well. I much rather have Quiznos or a Boars' Head cold sub. Better quality meat, by far.

3,000 calories a day is a lot? I eat nearly three times that. Haha.

Woe to the ectomorph.
