I think she (or he) means PEOPLE!! Like global warming? I've done a mistake like that before where people didn't interpret my question correctly. And I think she's asking for a topic.

What is the topic suppose to be about? Anything? Give us specific details about your school project. What it's about, what you're allowed to talk about, and etc. Your topic is sort of confusing and hard to understand. I wouldn't choose Global Warming for not being worried about it, because we'll definitely die from it one day. All things that are happening in the environment right now are really threatening to our world, so I can't see how you could write about why we shouldn't be concerned. O_O. Is there another choice of topic that you can use, like why we SHOULD be concerned about the environment?

And why was this in debate? O__O. Moved to School.

^ Oh, but doing a project on why we SHOULD be concerned about global warming is no fun! Maybe it's more realistic but I've done at least 8 global warming projects. Bore.

A simple Google of "don't worry global warming" and "global warming hoax" will give you TONS of material.

^ This is interesting and concise. You can do follow-up research from that alone.

Another article of interest:

Also, I think you don't mean that people actually like global warming, but that they support the theory that it exists. If you're using that as a point of interest, then your project is very, very weak.

Last year I wrote a paper about why I think global warming is a bunch of bullshit. :p

I got a 119/130
Best score I'd gotten on a paper for that crazy teacher.

How I interperet it: From his/her tag, "Why we shouldn't be concerened about the environment." And he/she is trying to think of concepts to support this idea. One of her concepts is that there may be some people who support global warming. It seems pretty farfetched and that the only reasoning behind liking global warming is a more tropical world? You would be better off just disproving the Global Warming theory instead of finding reasons why people would like it.

Possibly one idea could be focusing off the topic of the environment. Perhaps discuss and compare other issues that are more important than the environment. It won't be the easiest thing to write/support for but it is pretty creative trying something that most others would not write about.

Well, some people believe that global warming is bullshit, and it's just the earth going through the same basic cycles that it's been going through for billions of years. Plus there is no conclusive scientific evidence whatsoever on global warming. In fact there were dozens of scientists who spoke out against "An Inconvenient Truth," and they were all forcibly silenced.

Other people are crazy religious freaks who think the second coming of Christ is going to take them all away from Earth before its ruined by global warming, pollution, whatever.

Here is an anti-environmentalism essay that will give you perspective as to where anti-enviromentalists are coming from. http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pag...nvironmentalism

I'd be careful with that one only because it's 7 years old and science progresses fairly quickly.

^ And you should never do a project based on only one source. The more sources you have, the more people will think your project is well-researched and thought-out. And remember to cite your sources... and no matter what, don't plagiarize!!

The basics are there. If you read the article you'll know that it's short and gives a few points that you can and should do the research on separately. There's no way you can churn out an essay from that source alone.
