I cannot believe what happened tonight. I'm still in disbelief.

I went to MSTRKRFT's concert at Rich's in Houston with no expectations. I've never been to a club before, so we showed up ridiculously and somewhat embarassingly early (9PM). We sat around forever, waiting for MSTRKRFT to show up. We walked around, learned that anyone / everyone will take your seats if you leave. And we watched two guys dance by themselves on the dance floor. Soon, more and more people starting getting in as the opening band started.

Before MSTRKRFT started, I was just being my silly self, dancing like crazy on the dance floor to the opening band (I forgot their name, it's something like A Riots) LA Riots, I was asked by the manager to dance on stage. It was surprising to me, because I wasn't wearing a short skirt and heels (I wore my AA swimsuit, gold jeans, and black converses). So I went up there at it, and it was a lot of fun. MSTRKRFT came on, and I pretty much danced the entire night on stage, right next to them. During the show, the manager told (yelled to) me that someone from MSTRKRFT wanted to meet me. I was like "o_0 okay..." I didn't really know why, so I just kept dancing on stage. No one showed up, so I was like "I guess nevermind XD" but after the show, Al-C from MSTRKRFT came up to me and told me he had seen me dancing the whole night and asked if I wanted to get drinks with him after the show. I was like "I can't... I'm 18." And he couldn't hear me, so he said "Is it illegal or you just get too drunk?" "It's illegal." "Oh, it's okay! Don't worry about it." "But I have to drive my friends home..." And he offered me his drink one more time, but I said no and goodbye. The guy from the opening band came up to me and hugged me good-bye. On my way out, some other guy working there told me "I give you mad props. I've been watching you the whole night, and you are fine! What are you doing later tonight?" I said "I gotta drive my friends home" and my friends dragged me out of the club.

Long story short: I GOT ASKED OUT BY THE BAND :O It was the craziest f**king thing EVER.

All I could think about is acne-covered Asian guys with spikey hair dancing with Asian girls wearing tight jeans and black club tops. *barf*

sad.gif Tony has pretty bad acne, but it's getting a lot better. He has spikey hair. I wear tight jeans -- okay not really -- and I have 2 black clubbing tops.

lmao but no we've never been clubbing. Tony's not the clubbing type.

You have to watch it with famous singers and bands. They have a habit of luring girls backstage, if you know what I mean. ;)

lmao the funny thing is I saw NO acnified Asian guys and black top club Asian girls. XD Most of them were platinum blonde sluts whose coochies were showing underneath their tight black mini skirts. Dancing in the cages. Making out. Humping. And there was the one lesbian who had jeans, a tee, and a BLAZER on... even though I was sweating like a wild woman o_o

Dang, I know! Especially that guy from LA Riot. Geez, I saw him disappear with a different girl every thirty minutes, after they had made on stage in the back for a few minutes. Someone got a little lovin' that night. whistling.gif

Really? I thought all clubs were 18+, but they just used stamps or wristbands for the under 21. I guess I have to wait 3 more years before serious clubbing. :P

Nope. Well, definitely not here. Here, its pretty strict with our clubs and bars. At most places you need 2 places of ID and they scan and take a picture of you and everything. The age is only 19 though here. _smile.gif

^... TWO? forms? or places where they check? B/c it would be so inconvenient to have to bring a driver's license and a birth certificate / passport, loool.

I'd probably hate clubbing; I dislike loud music and being in a room with funky strangers.
I would enjoy meeting a band though.

My first clubbing experience was at this club called Ziggy's (all ages allowed) but I didn't stay long. I went to see the bands, one of them suck ass and I like the other band a lot. But that's one of the downfalls of clubbing, and you may not like the guest band that's preforming that night. It was weird with the old nasty drunk homeless man that kept cussing at the band randomly for reason and he smelled like shit. Other than the old homeless man, it was cool.

Oops, I meant to say two pieces, not places. tongue.gif And the second one doesn't need to have your birthdate, but your name at least and be somewhat official, like a credit card or student ID or something.

first night clubbin was on graduation day. me and a few other girls were going to head up this club on the river where we live. but one girl couldn't get in because she wasn't 18...her birthday wasn't until the following year. so we went in and she had to find a ride home.

man we were mean back then.

Le sigh. I want to go out now...

That's cool, though. I love smaller venues where the bands can hang out after they play.
