Ok. I know a lot of you love Tim Burton and I'm really happy for you, truly.

Me? I want him nowhere near Alice in Wonderland.

Alice in Wonderland is a trippy, trippy story. I'll give Tim Burton props on his older stuff, but NO. That's a classic story, so any remake will probably not justify remaking it.

Tim Burton didn't direct A Nightmare Before Christmas. Henry Selick (James and the Giant Peach) did. Give proper props, dammit!

Yeah, I can. Which is precisely WHY I don't want him near it. He'll do the Nighmare Before Christmas-esque thing again and I think this classic deserves something different, something more. It deserves to not be the typical and predictable regurgitated material Tim Burton so desperately clings to.

Like Beetlejuice, and Pee Wee's Big Adventure? Un-f**king-likely.
Tim Burton hasn't made a good movie since I could take a shit on my own.

I'm interested to see how it'll turn out. I'm neutral since I'm not his biggest fan, nor do I hate his work.

I heard the music sucked anus. But, I avoided it simply because I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in theaters, and that was my last straw.

Just had this strange visual of Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter playing the Red Queen.

Ahaha, so long as Burton doesn't play the same olds I think this project could be pretty good.

He directed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Hm...alright then thats different. If he's planning to use actual people, then it may not be so bad. If its in cartoon, forget it.

This angers me. I'll see it for the purpose of being snobby and outraged, but still.

This angers me.

Shotgun playing the March Hare, though.

He could probably do a real interesting twist to an already messed up fairy tale. What's the worst that can happen? He'll screw it up, and people won't like it, or think it's too dark or something?
If they feel that way, they can not watch the movie, or just go back to the original.

Personally, i think it'd be interesting to see Tim Burton have a go at the movie.

He's just going to make more weird and dark than it needs to be.
