so i'm 16 (almost 17!) and still no boyfriend, no kiss, no nothing. a lot of my friends have bfs now and i kind of feel out of the loop... at the same time, lots of my friends are in the same boat as me and we're not all freaks (i don't think... _unsure.gif )
is it normal that i haven't gotten my first kiss yet? am i doomed to be an old spinster with 27 cats? and why do i always fall for the guys who are out of reach!?

um, would you rather have some sleezeball hobo take your first kiss or someone awesome?
I mean when it comes down to it I rather wait for someone i want to kiss. Which i did XD

I was 16 when I had my first full on kiss. I also gave him head and then we had sex. So pretty much lost it all in one drunken night. Don't be worried about it not happening, because it will. And hopefully it will be a special moment, and not one of drunken stupidity.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean i know how you feel when you say all your friends have boyfriends, and I guess it kinda sucks, but your time will come. Sometimes things like that come unexpected, ya'know?

Don't Worry About It.
It's Not Weird.
Just Majority Of Us Tends To Be Sluts.
Haa.
Joke.
Nahh.
Most Of Us Probably Didn't Enjoy/Like Our First Kiss,
But Don't Fret, Good Things'll Happen Soon. :]
Plus, My Friend, She's Sixteen And She Still Hasn't Had Her First Kiss,
Even If she Does Have a Boyfriend...
=/
He's Too Shy.
She's Waiting For Him To Make A Move.
Can't Win Eh.
So Don't Worry about It.

You'll get your first kiss when the right guy comes along. There's no need to rush it just because some of your friends have already been kissed.

^ Yeah, I agree with Cristy. I know how it feels, too. Completely normal. It's like.. puberty. Some people get it earlier while others wait. ... Okay, bad example but you get me, right?

Honestly, you're 16/17, which means you're nearing college applications and it also means you're still young. Therefore, you have plenty of other things to worry about or concentrate on and you have your whole life ahead of you. Just because you didn't get a boyfriend yet doesn't doom the rest of your life to being alone.

How come girls just can't take things slow? Why does EVERYBODY having a boyfriend mean you have to have one too?

Obviously, you really haven't found someone to connect with. Just take things slow. Trust me, if you rush and grab whatever guy is available to get your first kiss over with just for the sake of being able to say you got your first kiss, you'll regret it. Relax.

Every time I see you post, I wonder, "What the hell is he doing?"

Please, respect yourself and represent your intellect a little better. Unless, you don't have the intelligence to type correctly and eloquently.

awww no it's not abnormal at all!

i didn't get my first boyfriend until i was like 16 turning 17. and i didn't even genuinely liked him! i just wanted a boyfriend because i felt peer pressure and felt like "why not?"

everyone's just starts dating at different times in their life! it doesn't mean if you start late you're gonna marry late or get less "game."

like i started late (compared to all my friends) but now i'm 18 and i've been dating this guy for 14 months, someone i actually care about.

so just be patient.

i think you rather date a guy you like than a guy you MIGHT like

dont worry about anything its totally normal some people just dont kiss the first boy or girl they see. Some peoples lives have more issues than a boy or girl and time will come and your first kiss will prolly be more important than other kids.

Agreed.

If you stop worrying about it , it won't mean so much. I understand how you may feel out of the loop, because I feel the same when my friends bring up certain topics. But really it'll happen so just don't worry about it. Enjoy being 17. At least when you're 17.

why worry? it'll happen before you even realize it (assuming that you have potential)... or you can kiss betty.
