Was misspelling "dyslexic" supposed to be ironic?
I know a girl who recently discovered she has dyslexia. She was actually pretty glad to find out, because it explained a lot about why was doing as poorly in school as she was despite being pretty smart. |

Was misspelling "dyslexic" supposed to be ironic? Thats what I was wondering. =p Anyways, no I don't but I feel like it sometimes. I tend to switch parts of words or sentences when I'm not really thinking...for example "The cold is ground." or "Rosbon street" instead of "robson street". These are things I've actually said... |

My younger brother used to have dyslexia, I remember helping him to read and spell out words.
You'd never believe he were the same guy now - he was the first pupil in his colleges' history to get straight distinctions in every one of his subjects. Dyslexia doesn't have to hold you back. |

No. I don`t have dyslexia. I find it interesting how it`s a major topic in sitcoms tho. Like the Cosby Show, George Lopez, etc.

you know, i never thought about this. im math i always switch numbers around.
when im typing, as im thinking about the sentence im gonna type, i end up writting it backwards somehow. its weird. maybe i shoudl go get that checked out. sometimes im even thinking of a sentence but i type a completely different sentence |

These are things I've actually said... thats i common error we all make. i wouldnt call it having dyslexia. kind of like ocd-ing over something but its not strong enough that you're diagnosed with ocd. i mix stuff up sometimes but i dont think i have dyslexia. reading and writing are two of my favorite things to do ![]() |
