I really hope you answer because I'm curious and it would be insightful. What are your expectations of the mods? What do you expect and do not expect them to do?

I'd like to reitterate Mona's question... Warnings, etc. are the most visible part of a mod's job, particularly outside of the Feedback forum, so while it can appear that way, it may just be that you're not noticing the other stuff, simply because it doesn't come with an announcement.

I'm just going to throw it out there that sweetasphyxia should not have been promoted to admin. I know my opinion might not matter as much as some others, since I'm just a member, but I think it should still count as us member have to interact with moderators every day. She acts like she is queen of the world all over the fourms and is really rude to a lot of people. Basically she makes a lot of people feel like they are looked down upon because she's on staff. I just think she acts really childish on occasions and it's very upsetting. I also wanted to say that I'm sad to see Holly step down, as I thought she did an amazing job. And seriously, what were you guys thinking demoting Mike? Sure he made a mistake but seriously, he was the best Design Staff mod out there. He doesn’t just screw around, he makes people feel welcome, he’s great to work/talk with, and he always does his job. He is really helpful and you can tell he works really hard. Anyway, that’s just my two cents.

I'm really sorry you feel that way and that you haven't gotten to know me just a tad better before making such harsh judgements. Hopefully I'll prove you wrong but I doubt you're the kind of person who changes their mind easily.

As for Mike; he was demoted because he submitted jocked graphics. A lot of us think that his story is a little questionable and that is something we're currently looking into. In a month, Mike might be able to come back on staff so I think it's a bit premature for you to be saying all this.

Well as I do agree that Mike was a great mod and contributed a lot, he did make a mistake that he also made in the past. He will be back though, so not to worry

Well okay, under my personal opinion I think he'll be coming back. But you never know.

Trish can be a little rough around the edges. I know when I first encountered her I wasn't really sure what to think. She honestly has the site's best interest in mind and really knows her stuff. I think it would be great if you got to know her a little better before coming to those types of conclusions, because beneath that sharp exterior there is a kind person there (even if she doesn't want to admit it:P).

There's also a bit more to the Mike situation. Out of respect, I'm not going to get into detail, but please know that we are looking at this very carefully and very fairly (at least in my opinion we are). It's important that before you make certain judgments, you know all the facts. I can't make you do that of course, but it is something to keep in mind.
