Of course looks are important.
But, a really ugly person can become really attractive if you get to know them. I know a girl that I always thought was hideous until I got to know her and now I can't help but see all the beauty in her.
On the flip side a very attractive person can be very ugly when you get to know them and I have met PLENTY of people like that, as well.

Looks matter to everyone no matter what they say, and that's true for me too. I'd say that when a guy interests me, looks account for 30% of my attraction to him while the other 70% depends on personality.

Looks are important, but not the most important thing, i mean i wouldn't be attracted to someone gorgeous with no personality, or a really "ugly" one
