if you wanted a lip piercing how old would you say is the appropriate age? i want my lip pierced so bad(: and is it easy to cover up, like putting a clear thingie in it for when i can't wear it?

Lip piercing is for wimps. Do a genital piercing. Right now.

I know plenty of people that got it done when they were around 12-13, they were trying to fit in to that whole scene emo bullshit..of course they grew out of it and regret it.

I can't rly say like a direct age but I would say yu should atleast be in ur teens. And you know I guess if your parents are oblivious they won't notice but don't you hav eto wear you're ring fora likea certain period of time? So it hardly seems like its gonna get past your parents if they say no.

Honestly if your thinking of getting something like this you need to think of the future, do you want to have your lip pierced in the future? But any age is fine for someone to get their lip pierced its a personal preference and if you feel comfortable getting one at the age you are now then go for it

I was 18 when I got my monroe piercing. Does that count as a lip piercing? Good age would probably be 18.

I agree with others. 18 is a good age. But like what Holly said, any age is fine; it is YOUR decision, not ours.

Technically there is no appropriate age for that type of piercing because unless you are working at hot topic till your 50 or your boss is cool as shit,you will never be able to enjoy it.

In the "real" world its like the guy with all the tats.He might be the best in the world but he still wont be hired cause of it.

I went through a stage (and it was only a stage - I can't abide the things now) where I desperately wanted a lip piercing. I plucked up the courage to ask my mom one night - she looked at me gone out and then burst into tears.

I felt so guilty, but also really offended.

Looking back, I'm so glad I was lectured to death about it. I'd never be in the position I am now if I had a lip piercing; you are judged, be warned!

yeah. i really wanted a nose and lip piercing a little while back. back when i was olivious to the whole 'scene.' to me, it was a sign of A) individuality and B) culture.

but. you know. what was once unique, is now yesterdays news. so ill pass.

plus i dont really need those enhancements to make me unique... muah ha ha ha.
