Why do girls like to show off? Are you seriously asking this question? It's the same as asking why girls play with their hair. Because they can. Everyone likes to show off because they enjoy flaunting what they have. Looks, possessions, jewelry, whatever.
There are a few reasons as to why a girl would open her cell phone in front of you: 1.) Appearing to have plans to prevent herself from being hit on by you. 2.) Appearing to be busy to prevent herself from being hit on by you. 3.) Appearing to have friends to prevent herself from being hit on by you. 4.) Appearing to make eye contact with you with her cell phone in hand to ensure all of the above to prevent herself from being hit on by you. |

i don't think it's just girls that show off. there are a lot of guys out there that show off as well. not all girls or guys are like that however. it just depends on the person i suppose. some people are just.. eh.
