Okay so I'v been picking up on a few really weird fear habbits.

1. I have to check behind the shower curtain before using the bathroom.
2. I have to chec my closet before going to bed to make sure no one is standing in there
3. I can't stand by my bed in the dark for fearing someone is going to grab my ankle.
4. I imagine people arguing over to shoot me or not outside a dark window.
5. I can't go into the basement without searching the entire area, and still after that I feel uneasy.

THOSe are my biggest fear habbits. Maybe I'm just weird and paranoid. Do you have/ever had weird fear habbits? POst them go go go!

In Thailand I have to check my boots and shoes for scorpions.

I have a similar fear to your #3: Sometimes when I'm sitting on the living-room couch at night, I'm afraid something will grab my ankle. So I sit with my legs crossed, feet clear of the floor.

Occasionally when I return to my room after taking a shower, I imagine that I'll find a corpse on my bed or hanging from the ceiling... I don't know why, but the thought usually doesn't occur to me too often.

Your paranoia isn't that weird. I can understand it.

when i go to the kitchen late at night, i try act really calm going back to my bed, but half way back i always flip out and run the rest of the way

Everytime I go to the bathroom downstairs at around 12-5 AM, I have to check the window, because when I was younger, there were these rapists near our neighborhood that escaped and is on the loose, and I thought they would come through the window and kidnap me.

I have that feet grabbing thing to. I can't stand to sit on the side of a bed for more then 10 seconds.

I have to put my tv on sleep cuz I can't stand to be in the dark with my closet that doesn't close.

I can't sleep with my neck exposed. I have this weird fear that someone will slit my neck while I sleep.

It's such a relief to know I am not crazy (or if I am everyone else is crazy too)

When I shower I am always scared to close my eyes when I am rinsing my hair. I am scared someone will pop out at me.

I have to be completely covered by a blanket or I can't sleep. I guess it makes me feel safe. Like a murderer couldn't stab through the blanket or something

Just the other day I was going to get something from the attic. I had to search the whole thing for half an hour from the stairs before I could get the courage to actually go up there.

I can't look at the clock at 3:15 am because of the Amityville Horror. I also close my closet doors all the way so nothing looks at me when I'm staring in the dark. And, I usually make sure noone's right behind me if I am on the computer.

I do the same thing!!! Oh my goodness!

I know, I get so f**kin scared sometimes!

haha I cant close my eyes when I rinse my hair in the shower cuz I'm afraid of the hand that might come out of my hair from the grudge. lol its stupid but I get scared, I dont' wanna feel I freaking hand in my hair.

I don't have any paranoia, but I have strange rituals I go through.
For example: I walk around one side of my bed, and then the other, and then go back and hop in that way. I've done it since I was little, and I think I always will.

I always thought I was a paranoid freak, and I guess I'm not. It's so relieving. I feel safe whenever John is around. But if he is sleeping or working or something I am so paranoid. If I wake up at night I HAVE to use a flashlight and check every room for serial killers. If I don't I get so scared it's unreal.

I do that too. Wherever I go in the dark.

Idk I don't mind sitting, reading, or walking around in the dark so much. Unless I hear noises, of course.

I know what you mean. I used to be really paranoid and ALWAYS check behind the door of the room I'm about to enter. I don't do that as much anymore, but I still find myself doing it now and then.

Also, everytime I'd get back home after going out, (this one's pretty intense) I'd call out loud in my house telling them to get the hell out.

And you thought you were paranoid.

HAHAHAHHAHA lmao so true and sometimes I spill my milk or ice cream so then I have to go back downstairs to get more. Haha.

I hate flashlights becaus eyour skimmign across teh room and then BAM! theres the killers face. Well thats what it is in the movies. lol



Hahah I only do that when I walk in the front door an dlook up the stairs and see my dog not looking at me but straight at the air (down the hallways I cant see). Then I flip. lol

You should stop coming back and forth and just stop coming.
