For the same reason you posted your pictures on this site. You want to make friends and you want people to compliment you telling you you're pretty, regardless of the fact that it's the internet and everyone tells everyone that regardless of the way they really feel.
You don't see Mike posting there because every time he tried to do so, he got shot down, both backstage and in the CC. |

Word to the wise - I personally won't overstep my boundaries and issue warnings, but this probably won't end well. My suggestion is either drop it or find a more appropriate place to resolve it.

:P I am in fact a mentor and I don't have the kind of authority anymore to act "authoritatively". It bothers me when staff members (and non-staff members) step in where they shouldn't, and I was trying to choose my words carefully so as not to use the behavior I hate.

Hell, I started out as LJ staff and I'm sure I did, too. I dunno. Alright well I read through all that stuff
 anyway I'm sorry you guys think that I'm trying to mod the community center, because honestly I'm not. I go in the community center when I'm bored and/or there is nothing else to do in the resource center. This is also the first time anyone has brought anything up about this, so if you guys have a problem post it here or PM me when it is occuring. I haven't been on much the past few days because of computer issues/school so I didn't even know this was an issue. Thanks for the feedback (positive and negative) and I'll try to work on the things you guys suggested. |
