QUOTE(revoltaire @ Oct 24 2007, 02:11 AM) *
when i was, i wasn't. i didn't really care, though. i used to be all OOH ABSTINECE except it was pretty much.. a bunch of spoon-fed shit from sunday school. i didn't really believe it; it was just what i was taught to repeat.

now, it's just a don't ask don't tell. i'm not gonna lie to someone, but if he or she has an issue with me not being a virgin, he/she can shove it up his/her ass. mellow.gif

i think the whole "it's the best thing you can give to your husband/wife" thing is... just dumb, really. "hey, it's my first time, congrats you just took my virginity!" is bizarre to me.

to me, the best thing you can give your partner is, "i love you more than anything, anyone, everything, and everyone in the world... combined." - maybe losing your virginity to someone earlier was a mistake, but we're human. mistakes happen, and you can get over them and make up for them.

nothing complicated.

You're just f ucking retarded. You're just all indifferent and apathetic and "OH-ITS-NO'BIG-'DEAL-" attitude about it because you've lost it. Face it, that's the truth. You probably would want it back if you can.

I wasn't ashamed. I didn't just brag about it.

Honestly, sometimes I do want it back. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the way things are now.

When I was one I wasnt ashamed really.
When people ask me if I'm still one I don't lie but I'm not exactly proud.

face what? i lost my virginity, but it's not going to bring tears to my eyes every time i think of it. i'm not being all indifferent and apathetic - i think you just assumed that because you can't tell what sort of tone i'm using when i type.

i'm saying that people make mistakes, and you can't change the past... but it doesn't mean that you have to mentally thrash yourself every time it comes to mind. you can, however, commit yourself to change.

I'm very proud to be a virgin. Going on 20 years now. My boyfriend's the same; we like to think we're an unusual couple in that respect.

xtwitchyx - kudos to you!

I was ashamed when I was. Somewhat.
Here and there I'll lie about it to mess with people.

If I did that; a mental thrashing is the least of what I'd give myself...

I am...as of now.
But I'm going to lose it to my boyfriend during the xmas break. He is going t lose his to me...so it's special.

I'm not ashamed to be a virgin...nor am I particularly proud of it? I'm just indifferent to it. It's just another part of me.

do u think everyone who isn't a virgin is just someone who doesn't know how to keep their pants on?

i know i could have easily kept mine on but i was like, what the hell, i dont think i'll keep it till marriage [seeing how i dont even believe in marriage] so might as well lose it.
