as a general rule of thumb here, topics that have a point (i'm not saying mine did) shouldnt be closed just because people are spamming in it. you should tell them to quit spamming and leave the thread open.

i don't know why staff started to just close topics like these...

also, just because an issue is "resolved" in the lounge doesnt mean it has to be closed either. people are still allowed to make comments as long as they are relevant to the thread. the only topics that need to be closed when they are resolved are help threads.

I don't really have anything bad to say about the mods at the moment, they all seem to be doing a pretty great job. Though the main standout I often see a doing a great job on staff/administration would have to be Insurmountable.. she always seems to be there to close things, reply, give people all the help they need etc. _smile.gif

I think this topic should be closed. There is to much spam. LOL

Sandraaa, why don't you just openly admit that you did it (what ever you "did") because you don't like Trish. Even if it is a lie, it might be fun to see her twitch. Hell, just lie about everything. Tell them what they want to hear. Lie lie lie, I do it all day. People like lies. It's what makes the world go around. There is nothing wrong with a little lie that doesn't hurt anyone and makes everything better. There are times when you need to tell the truth, and there are times when you don't need to tell the truth. Believe me. Just tell them what they want to here. Say something like this:

Trish,

you're right. I apologize for what's happened. It was an error on my part, but for some reason the Moderator Console won't allow me to reopen the topic. I have talked to Mona about the problem. We are both unable to reopen the topic. We are working to get Jew-sun down here and re-open the topic for us. We think it may be a glitch in the software. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing do to the closure of this topic.

Sincerely,

Sandraaa

Sometimes the truth just isn't worth the hassle. People only know what you tell them. Remember that. Lies are awesome.

I remember quoting that particular post and responding to it Trish. blink.gif

Josh, I already re-opened the topic so the moderator console thingy wouldn't work. About me closing Trish's topic because I don't like her ... WTF? Is that what you guys think?

I already apologized. I've explained my part. shrug.gif

No, just for future use. Throw them a curve ball. You know they're just fucking with you. Hell, just lie about shit. Talk to staff about it. They know these guys are giving you a hard time. Collaborate with your fellow staff members and make up a big lie to satisfy the community. I mean, wtf... who cares, it's not like it's effecting them. Just blame anything and everything that they're upset about on something that is above and beyond anyone's control. That's all I'm saying. Sometimes lying is what's best for everyone.

I'm happy with the entire staff at the moment. I had "NAZI" feelings toward specific people on staff. They are gone, and I'm happy.

That being said, could Someone give me a reason to be upset about one of the staff members? I would like to argue.

I don't know if you've noticed but lying doesn't exactly work on this forum. It always comes out then they drive you mad, then you're forced to create this f**ked up story, then you choose / are forced to leave and never come back but eventually, you do. Then people still think that you're f**ked up no matter how 'in' you are in the community.

Yeah. Doesn't work quite well. I'd better take it now.

EDIT// You can always fish for a story Josh. It works flowers.gif

I, as a former staff member, demand respect. I may not be currently staff, but trust me, I know what I'm doing. Because of that, I am reporting the fact that Mike aka undesi(red) says black homosexuals are in love with Nate. This isn't a general statement, rather an absolute.

i think the design staff is doing a bad job of approving layouts. i don't understand why anyone jocking angie or fainaru's layouts should get by. these two people have probably the most distinct and recognizable styles out of everyone who submits. these jockers aren't even clever about it, they copy the same damn text and instructions. numerous people call them out as jockers within 10 minutes of their layout being accepted, so it seems like a design staff member should be familiar enough with two of the most popular layout designers styles to notice an obvious jock.

If you find a jocked layout, please PM a designer about it so we can take care of it _smile.gif

Thats when you report the link to someone on staff _smile.gif Angie has sent me a link to a layout that was Joked she said, but came to find out that the original designer of the layout coding was just on a new screen name.

Were normal people and yes we do review the layouts and stuff but sometimes we do make mistakes and let things slide. So if you ever find something please just PM us about it and we'll be sure to PM you back or fix the problem _smile.gif

I have been noticing that a lot lately... they have been jocking my toxic coding like crazy. I actually just removed one, but I will keep a look out thumbsup.gif Thanks for the input.

That's only because Holly's not on design staff anymore. The added responsibility of administrator means she has to prioritize. After 1.5 years of accepting and rejecting layouts I'm sure that this is among the lowest of her priorities on this site.

Point out these bastards and I'm sure they'll get what's coming to them. Staff needs your help just as much as you need theirs. They are real people with real lives (exception: Mona).

OK. Now, should I respond in general OR just as to why I closed your thread? Nvm. I closed a super duper fun thread and part of the reason was that yes, indeed, it was resolved. Which clearly was a wrong reason. There was nothing personal. Like I said, this won't clearly happen again. I don't know why other staff members close topics abruptly, maybe for the same reason I did, maybe not.

I apologize Trish for closing your thread. It was re-opened yesterday.
