Do you guys have a "spot" that not many people know about, but you simply love being there? It could be because it's tranquil, close to nature, a good view, etc.

Mine is my roof:

I live in this 8-story building, fairly new, and I'm on the 8th floor. The door to the stairs to the roof is right outside my door. The roof is really clean, and it has lights and little tables (no chairs lol, it gets pretty windy). The view from up there at night or sunset or even daytime is BREATHTAKING. If I look east, I can see for... forever, because all other buildings are shorter. I can see the mountains behind the stretch of houses and cars, and there's a park and some tennis courts in the stretch. At night, it's full of lights and cars, and there's a very nice gentle breeze. It's a safe roof, cuz there's a 3-4 foot high mini-wall surrounding it. It's cleaned often, and it's simply stunning. Pure white goodness, but it sometimes collects a bit of dust. Not too difficult to get to either, lol. Not many people go up their too, which is real nice. I go there to practice break dancing and choreograph, because I really don't like being watched while practicing, and it's just a perfect spot.

^ Oh, how fantastic! I remember watching 'Hey Arnold' years ago and desperately wanting that ladder to the roof in my bedroom laugh.gif

I guess my spot is my room. I can survive in here indefinitely. TV, PS2, computer, hi-fi, fishtank, on-suite...I love my space here.

My spot is definitely my room, or the beach. The beach is just.. I feel so much freedom there, like nothing else matters but the sand, water and horizon

Hmm, I haven't really picked a place yet. But speaking of roofs, I loved being on the roof of my grandmother's house in India. You can see over other people's houses, see trees that look like palm trees in the distance, the sun rise or sun set. Family members and I camped out one time on the roof and slept there for the night. The weather was great so it was fun! We don't have mountains like you do. :(

Haha I'm in Taipei, Taiwan. It's pretty much a city surrounded by mountains.

There's nothing in my room. Computer, TV, PS2, everything is outside. All that's in there is a bed, desk, speakers (for music while doing hw), and lots and lots of books.

I'm a country kid. So I deffinately like to hang out in the tree line between the fields. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about... but it's really cool and if you can see coyotes and wolves and the like on summer nights. When my brother and I were younger we'd always walk through the fields and one time we came across this old dump in the treeline and we'd break old jars of stuff and there was even an old dishwasher, lol.

Yes.

The pond near my house with a bunch of ducks. Everyone who lives on my street knows about it though, but it's still fun to visit the ducks and feed them. ^_^

The practice room in the far corner of the RFA. Less foot traffic, meaning less people walking by and looking in the door to see who's in there. No distractions, just playing. Pretty relaxing.

Well I obviously a lot of people know about my spot, but don't use it the same way as I do. I love this certain part/exhibit of the Baltimore Aquarium. It's peaceful and a great place to think.

I don't know if I really have a 'spot', but there are a few places I enjoy being. I like to lay outside on my trampoline, and I like being in my room.
I used to go out on my roof when I had a room that was above the garage.
