Well, I was trying to tell Dani to discuss things with Josh, but we all know how that went.
._.

She has her A+. She knows a lot about PC Repair.

What's that? o_0

I mean, I know an A+ is a good grade, but is it more than that? about what you're referring to?

No, it's a test. Comptia A+ exam is a test that gets you the A+ certification. Think of it like the SAT for computer knowledge. It covers the basics that every PC Repair guy or gal (in this case) should know. It's almost like a test that sets a standard for the PC Repair field.

If you had the choice between hiring a person who has their A+ or a person who says they know a lot about computers, you would hire the person who has their A+ because you wouldn't have to take their word for it.

Oh, I see. Well Dani mentioned that she would probably not be able to cover all the questions to people's content, and it seemed you would. So I just wanted to suggest that you two partner up (along with others and Jusun... if it could happen) and discuss the frequently asked q's, the more technical questions, etc. and possibly make a temporary FAQ. shrug*

I would have to look into the program more. Also, I would have to spend time with the people who are having issues. I don't know what issues are frequently asked.

I wish Suz would have just replied to my face instead of hiding backstage. Oh well, this is for you Suzette:

I get the impression that you want me to "work" for a staff position. I feel like a dog. I feel like someone is waving a treat in front of my face. Trouble is, the treat is a big juicy piece of broccoli and not a big piece of steak. You don't get it. I wouldn't mind doing being on staff, but I don't care if I'm not hired either. I would do my best and probably be one of the best additions to staff you have ever seen. However, I will never humor you by applying durring a hiring season. If you want to hire a less qualified person. That's fine. I don't care. I have fun on this website as it is. I don't need to be a Staff Member to continue to have fun.

Oh, I also get the impression that you want me to help out of the goodness of my heart, that I don't need a position, and that there is no reason to put me on staff. You're right, I don't need a position, but at the same time don't expect me to jump in and answer questions that cannot be answered by your staff. You're paying your staff whether you realize it or not. Whether it be though appreciation or recognition as a staff member. If I'm going to be responsible for answering technical questions I want to be payed for it. I hope you understand. To be frank, this would be a give/take relationship and not a take take take from Josh's shallow pool of kindness relationship. It takes time and effort to respond to technical posts, this is the kind of time that I don't have if I'm not going to be recognized or appreciated for it.

I'm glad that your staff knows how to appreciate a helping hand. As for you, I'm not so sure. Appreciation goes a long way. Listening to them. I know that you don't want to be like the old staff. If you don't want to be like them. Then try something new. Start by replying here instead of hiding backstage. *sarcastic* I hope I showed enough tact for you.

I know that you're talking backstage about me because you asked Holly to talk to me. She didn't tell me anything about what was said. I'm just not an idiot. If you're not talking here. You are talking about there.

That's disgusting xD

Anyway I don't think it would be best for Josh to really be on design staff. Like I've already said -___-

He doesn't know anything else that would be in the design forums but the tracker issues. So thats why we were suggesting him having his own title or his own just CB support.

yea he could work on people staff better in the end I think. Hes way more active there anyway. And he uses his knowledge there well in technology.
