Nope. I've never had braces and don't think I'll be getting any soon. :]

Not that my teeth are perfect or anything, though. Hah.

Lolol. I feel so stupid now. I remember when I needed to get braces, my dad offered me the invisa-line. Stupid me, I picked the wired ones since in my opinion, are prettyy. But having my parents hide gum from me isn't very fun, damn it.

How do you determine how long you need to keep your braces? I mean. . "it depends on how crooked your teeth are". . but to what extent? blink.gif I've never had braces, and i don't plan to. biggrin.gif

I had braces for three years. I got them off a year ago and still have some of the glue on my teeth. I hated the rubber bands, I apperantly open my mouth too wide and they'd always be breaking and snapping me in the inside of my cheek, ouch. Even after a year I still sound funny and can't say "s", "th" or a possesive "s" without a lisp when wearing my retainer. Luckily that's an only at night thing.

Braces were a pain, pun intended, but I must say they could be fun. Has anyone ever noticed that magnets stick to them? Even whimmpy locker magnets... It feels really weird when you slide it along your teeth.

Oh braces. I remembered the pain.
Don`t worry, it`ll ALLLL be worth it when you take them off.
And when you do, you probably won`t remember how it felt like when you had them on (excluding the tightening.maybe). _smile.gif
