SO. House party, good times. My best friend was reallly drunk, and passed out on me, and so we took her home, after feeding her lots of water. Hella good times, though.

When you go out, or to a party, or whatever you guys like to do, are you usually the one who looks after other people, or the one who needs looking after?

I've had my nights, and stuff, because everyone does. But for the most part, I can be pretty responsible, and I like to manage the crisis.

Being as how I'm inconvenienced by being Asian and thus lack the enzyme to break down alcohol, I'm always the first one drunk at the party, which is pretty sweet since it means I'm having a good time. However, I hate burdening others, so I take care of myself (and others) regardless of my lack of sobriety. According to other people, I'm helluv pro at acting sober when I'm not, though, so it's kosher.

Sigh. But yeah, acting sober is a life skill not to be sneezed at.

I'm the biggest asshole in the world when I'm drunk. I say the absolute meanest things.... think me on cB, but in real life...

I never get drunk. I can drink all I want and I rarely get buzzed. It's strange.(I dare you to say otherwise Josh.)

One time at a frat party I went to, me and this guy big henry decided to have a drinking contest. They called him big henry for a reason, he was about 7'1 and probably 350 lbs. I'm only 5'9. So he takes two pitchers and fills them to the top with keg beer. I've never drunk so much beer at one time before or since, I downed more than 3/4 of the pitcher within a minute and had to stop. He beat me by literally an inch. I was pissed, but happy.
Then me, him, and this kid named Fuu drove to another college singing that goddamn Halleluja song from Shrek in the car. As soon as we get to the other college, we start walking around looking for a party. It's me, a 5'5 Vietnamese kid, and a 7'1 goliath, kind of a funny sight. We finally find a party and no one is gonna say no to big henry, so we just walk in, steal some beers, play some beer pong, and leave.
Then we go to Fuu's buddies house, steal more beers, play more beer pong(in this particular game I was against a drunk sorority girl who liked to try and make me miss by flashing her big titties at me) and call it a night.
Fun times.

THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE WHO'D THROW HOUSE PARTIES and I happen to enjoy these more so than "dance parties" or the clubs. The club scene gets old after a while. Funniest shit happens at house parties.

I do prefer the buddies versus the crowd. :)

I probably will always end up being the most responsible and do the look after..although if they puke when they sober up their cleaning it up >_> there is no way in hell i would clean up after them

Naw, it's pretty common, actually... I have a few Asian friends and most are pretty big lightweights.

Jeez, I wish I had some drunken self-control so I could know when Im at that perfect drunk where everyone is nice, every chick is into you, all inhiitions fly out the window, every joke you tell is a killer, I love that drunk.
If I lived on my own and didnt have nice things, I would throw parties all the friggin time. I love good parties. Biggest party I ever went to was this spoiled bitches birthday party where me and josh got wasted and sang kareoke for a few hours and then I started hitting on Josh's ex-girlfriend's cousin. She was nice, shitty beerpong player.
Worst party Ive ever been to I didnt even get drunk. I was in this phase where I just didnt want liquor, so theres one goddamn coors light and everyone else is drinking shots and having fun. The girls mother comes downstairs and sees me with a beer in my hand while everyone else is clearly drunk but hiding their bottles. She singles me out and says "Are you 21?" really pissed off. pff, I threw the can at her head and ran out of the house like a group of people at a christmas party finding out someone there is gay...wait, that happened too...I thought I was boring. Josh, what the fukk? We gotta do more of that shit. I'll bring the chicks who'll throw up everywhere.

i'm telling you the best part about drinking is bumming everyone's ciggs.

I like house parties because its mostly friends and not randoms there...and as for me, I'm a lightweight, but definitely not the worst out of my friends. And I have been both, the responsible one and the one needing taking care of...it just depends. Now, I've gotten better and I'm in the middle. I don't always take care of people but I'm not puking or that wasted anymore.

And yes, Asians tend to be lightweights. At least my friends are.

Yes, the enzyme deficiency thing is true. There's a term called the "Asian glow" which refers to the glow we get when we're drunk.

I don't go to parties and drink but if a friend got drunk I would help him/her

i don't need to be taken care of, but i don't take care of other people...never really had a chance to.

but i'm glad to say i don't get the asian glow. if i did, i'd stop drinking because the asian glow is nasty as hell. rosy pink is cute, but when you're splotchy and tomato-esque, please re-evaluate yourself.

the last house party i had went to hell.
So i decided never to have one again.Id rather go to someone elses house and f**k it up then to clean up after mine.

I prefer house parties actually... more relaxed and comfortable. I don't drink so I suppose I'd be the one to take care of others. >.>
