This is a banner that I use on my website (here, in case you want to look at it). But I feel the banner is lacking something. Any suggestions?

Hm, my input-

I think more pictures could have been used, a better blend.
Some effects with the text too.

i think the colors used are a little random, even if you incorporate them into other parts of the banner. the blue and white work, but the yellow and red are...eh

use this website, it's brilliant

I think the colors are REALLY bad. Even though, it seems like you wanted the font colors to match with the singers shirt colors, they look really bad. I think you should have colorized the colors so they all compliment eachother. The overall imagequality of the person is pretty bad to begin with =/

AND shade of blue will NEVER go with red.

I was looking for HELP not CRITICISM. All I've gotten is "the colors are really bad" and not any suggestions on what to use. I didn't do the blend, it's what they did in the video.

So, instead of criticism and telling me what's wrong...maybe tell me what to do right?

And yeah, I know about the image quality, but know one has told me really how to fix those stinking image captures.

okay. well the image quality is awful. the thing to do is to choose better pictures
The colors and font look a tad tacky and they just don't match and come together overall. Download better fonts and I guess try to match them better with your graphic? haha

What do you mean we havent given you SUGGESTIONS? Criticizm tells you what you need to add/fix. It would be the same if we said

"you should change the colors. They need to match, and flow more thumbsup.gif "

Telling you what you're doing wrong IS TELLING YOU what to do right. Our critcizm only makes you better altogether as a whole.

But what about telling me what kind of colors? What colors would match the theme and still look alright?
Anyone can critisize by saying "That's not any good", but actualy helpinf would be actually telling me what to use.

She recommened you change the colors, so the image flows better. She also recommended a website that you go to, to improve the color scheme.

Nevermind. Someone please close this topic. No one understands that I'm working with a crummy still fro the 70's, I had nothing to do with the corny blend, that I'm not a photoshop genius, and I tried the color scheming thing to no avail.

Please close this topic.
